Highest recommendation, Brad is a true professional. He spends generous time with his clients to determine their wants and provides estimates that satisfy their goals. Of all in the business of land clearing and mulching he was clearly the best we found.

In the 40+ years of operating heavy equipment, I have sat in the seat of many brands, some now non existent (International/Dresser, Drott, Terex/Euclid Wabco, Poclain, Champion to name a few). I have also worked on some of the largest in the world - Cat 797 truck, Komatsu PC8000 shovel, Cat D11, Hitachi 5500 shovel. But if I was to go and purchase a small excavator it would be the Yanmar SV100 first choice, then probably Sany as second choice.

Looks like that machine works well for you. I'm looking at getting into more excavation and land clearing in the future so you've got a dream job of mine lol

Do you think the SV100 is to big to feed a chipper in the woods?
Seems to big to get into back yards, and close in projects.
    Just would like your opinion.
    Thanks!

That's exactly why I picked this machine. It will still fit through an 8 foot gate but has 75hp. Most of the 80/85 machines are just slightly smaller in footprint but are about 20hp less. Running the mulcher that 20hp is huge. I'm extremely happy with the machine and its capabilities both in size and power.

@b_mulching You think it would maneuverable enough to feed logs into a chipper in the woods? Thinking of putting a 360 degree grapple on it to aid in feeding.
Also loading logs into a dump trailer.
I've had people who do what I do tell me not to go over a 16k machine.
But they all have 12 k machines.
I just don't want to regret my decision.
      Thanks for your insight!
      Don

I have seen that same head Ron on a Kubota 57 and it did fine, you should have no issues. Maybe get the rotation coupler, that would be sweet

I've seen a lot of 57 size machines running the fmx36, I think the fmx50 would be a lot for that size machine. That's why I was very particular about the setup I wanted.

Did you run the kabota before you bought this machine? If so what’s your opinion

The biggest machine Kubota offers is the 80. It wasn't one I considered, I didn't want an 8 ton machine for what I need.

Yanmar 100 is way, way stronger then bobcat e88! Want to compare to a cat 310
