Then finally i said no more my kids and i deserve better. I finally got the courage to leave him. I divorced his ass. Omg the word divorce never sounded so good.. I relate to this song. I have no hate for these girls...they all have great voices...but this song might as well just be credited to Miranda Lambert, with a couple really good backup singers. The other two barely sing anything other than “yeah yeah.” There’s no focus on their individual voices whatsoever.
I think it's just that this song is for Miranda. They have other songs that the other girls are more of the focus. They said this album started with "when I was his wife" and Miranda felt she needed to write with the Annies.
