3 amazing voices without no real front person. love the Pistol Annies. As a middle aged white guy its not real relatable but I love them. The music is so well written and of course the harmonies are amazing. I put this group in my all time favorite bands and definitely the top spot of all women vocal. Not that anyone cares what I think I just wanted to put out my thoughts and hope they come out with a 4th album. Christmas album doesn’t count.

Monroe co wrote some songs with Miranda Lambert' for Miranda's Revolution Album which including the chart topping single "Heart Like Mine". They were writing songs together one night at Miranda's and Blake's cabin in Oklahoma and felt that the songs wern't right for either one of them but they sounded awesome but they didn't want to give the songs to others to cut so Miranda & Ashley came up with the idea to start a band and Monroe later recruited her friend Angaleena Presley which became the third member of the group.
