Alright, guys. In this video I'm going to be going over the fix that Gamesir themselves have listed on their official TH-cam channel. Being that the title of their video is directed more towards battery & not specifically charging or *red blinking/flashing light*, AND because their video just throws text up on the screen for like.. one second, I decided to do a better version of their video in a more detailed setting. It's still quite terrible, but I believe I did a better job at explaining the fix of this issue.

Hi, I did as in the video and the green light flashes, but after a while it stops flashing. Is this normal?
Not to my knowledge. It needs to keep repeatedly blinking green for a charge to come through. I would say to repeat my process until it holds a blinking light.
I don't know if you still have this device but what I did cuz I had the same situation was since it was impairing mode I went ahead and paired it to my phone and that I made it hold a charge
I don't suppose you know how to fix charging on a X2 usb-C version? I'm trying to charge my phone while playing at the same time but it won't recognize my charging cable even though it's plugged in

Just got this controller today and it was a brick straight out of the box. This vid saved me from dumping it in the trash; works perfectly now so thanks 🤗

Hello i have 4 modes on the controller and they do not affect us after your way
Are you referring to the 4 outcomes I listed in this video or are you referring to the Connection Mode Indicator modes?(Top light) Because that's something completely different & not something that needs to be addressed to fix a charging issue.
Or are you just saying that you tried my way with the reset button & it didn't work? I need a little more information.

@@абоба228-ц4ж Under the right stick is your Turbo Button & that only. Are you sure you have the X2 Bluetooth? And not the X3 or the Lightning?
Edit - What I'm saying is, this video is to address the "not holding a charge fresh out of the box" issue. If this is in concern to a defect other than battery, I probably won't be of much help.
Dude also have this gamepad I was playing on it and gamepad turn red light I closed gamepad and put my charfing cable after when I check my gamepad wont turn on I can only turn on when I put charging cable on it and realese cable after to play.. this video can help me?
You seem to be having the same problem that I was having when I first got this device. You have to follow my steps in the exact order. Sometimes it takes a really long time to hold the reset button down, like 5+ minutes, to get it to work. Apologies if this method didn't work for you!
@@FurbyParade226 I am trying but no lights on device dude now I have another problem when gamepad has no battery I put cable for charging while I am playing but always disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth with 2-3 second intervals but when I play in xbox mode everything fine while charging..

I think the battery charge of the controller is so low and it has to be forced off (pin method) to charge only the battery.
That's exactly what it is I haven't used my joystick in over 2 years and I bust it out and realized quickly that I was having this issue so I tried what he did in a video to my surprise wasn't working and then it clicked I decided to want the lights were on and blinking and I knew it was in pairing mode to pair my device so I paired it to my phone immediately and it started to hold a charge
Hi bro i tried this now my green light shows up but the issue i am facing is even after an hour of keeping it on charge it dowsnt charge as soon as i unplug it it just turns off and doesnt turn on

I just bought this device unit its not working i tried to charge it buts its not working
I'm assuming you did the method I listed in this video? Sometimes it takes a looong press of the reset button to do this. I've actually encountered people that had to keep it held in for 5 minutes & above to get it to display a light.
My suggestion to you would be to keep it plugged in for a few hours first, & then follow my method (while keeping reset held down for at least 5 minutes). I wish I was able to get a hands on view of everybody's device to better be able to help them.

I'm gonna ask a few questions to better help the situation. Is it not lighting up at all or is it a red blinking light? Does it work when it's plugged in & only plugged in? Or is it completely bricked right out of the box?
The indicator blinking green so maybe its work sir.

hey mate, just wondering if you have any insight on getting the iOS mode to switch on? I finally got it to charge and now the iOS mode wont launch (B+ Home, technically the xbox wireless controller mode) lol.

Unfortunately, I have zero knowledge of any iOS products. I wasn't even aware that this version could connect to iOS until somebody pointed it out in the comments, lol. Apologies!

My light is green but blink at half the speed yours is. And I can't get it to hold a charge. Almost as if it needs to be plugged in to USB C to use
There is a possibility that people are receiving faulty products as well. Whether that be a short in the unit or battery problems. After trying the fix I demonstrated several times, if it still continues to not hold a charge, I would contact Gamesir directly. I hate to see people lose out on their money.
But just for some clarity, mine also was blinking slowly at first & only working when plugged in. But through several attempts of what I show in this video, it finally started blinking normal speed & worked portably. I'd say keep trying. Let me know what happens.

I missed your comment, somehow.. I'm pretty sure there are a few variations of the Gamesir X2. I don't believe this model can be used with all OS's. I could be wrong but I believe the Bluetooth version is only compatible with Android. I'll have to double check that for ya.
Edit - So supposedly it *does* support iOs. Apologies on my end. I've never used Apple phones in my life & have no resolution for you. I'd assume you got a defective product at that point.
What if the light is green and it blinks and then it just goes off?.
So I figured it out just in case somebody runs into this video This method does work but if your lights are blinking in a suddenly go off like mine did I had to bright idea to pair it because when the blue and green lights are blinking it's in pairing mode once I paired it to my phone it started to hold a charge
Anyone has any idea how to enter G touch mode ? I mean I tired everything it said holding for 5 seconds got blue and green light everything but still it says am not in G touch mode.
Following lmao.. I never messed with any of the "Modes". They may have a tutorial on their TH-cam page but I wouldn't hold my breath. This is a rather janky product after all.

Yea this thing is a piece of shit spent an hour tryna get it to work gave up on it.
I don't blame you honestly. When it actually works it's surprisingly good but getting to that point can be a challenge. Sometimes it's just a simple matter of holding the reset button in for a really long time. By all means nobody should have to do this fucking shit to get the thing to work. Huge error on Gamesir for not recalling & fixing this or even addressing it outside their TH-cam page that I doubt anybody even browses. I'm sorry.
@@FurbyParade226 yea exactly mine connects Bluetooth but the Xbox controller option just doesn’t work for whatever reason using my iPhone I have to use it as an Xbox controller to make it work.
@@Josh-tz2xm This isn't the only Gamesir product that has connectivity issues either. I also bought an X2 USB-C version as well & it straight up won't even connect to my phone because my phone doesn't support USB-C 2.0 charging. Was never told that on the page & there wasn't even a compatibility list to warn me. They're honestly just a terrible company.
