Ordering by rank and suit can also be very helpful when dealing with face down cards. Let's say a face down card is between a 9(diamond) and a 7(spade). You know its either a 9, 8, or 7 from that position, and if you select that card, it will stay up so you can easily identify it when you shuffle to order by suit. Now that same card is between a 9 & 5 of diamonds, narrowing it down to being either an 8 or 7 of diamonds. It's not always accurate, but knowledge of your deck and card organization can help sometimes when its vital. Also, if you're on a run centering around certain high or low cards (like stacking aces for 5 of a kind, or using 4's for the walkie talkie joker) then if you're on the "first hand drawn face down" boss, ordering by rank and discarding 5 from the opposite side of the cards you want is the safest bet.

yeah xmult is like a variable in algebra. +20 mult just adds a multiplication to your scores but xmult multiplies everything after it has been calculated
In the first run I won, I had Spare Pants and loads of planets providing some nice base multiplier. Then I had a bunch of x1.5mult and similar. A two-pair hand was routinely worth 200k-300k chips. I one-shot everything, until I suddenly didn't any more and lost after continuing into endless.
I made exactly the same mistake! Unless I'm missing it the game doesn't have a help menu or glossary (on Switch at least), which may have helped me avoid this pitfall. A longer, more detailed tutorial with some more example hands would have also helped.
Not viable. You'll only be able to get the points for that one hand, and then nothing else. You'll lose pretty quickly. Probably at the second ante at most.
@@shaiadar4845 you won't be able to thin your deck to five cards by Ante 2. By the time you do thin your deck out, you will likely have enough jokers to support the one-hand win.
