i'd hate to do it but imagine converting that rear into an RV trailer. Diesel heat, diesel cook top, diesel generator. having a shower/toilet, bunk beds, small kitchen, food storage, and other supplies... and going out with a pair of sherpa's 1 acting as the rv, and other as back up and supply.
That's what I was thinking? Who needs to carry 18 people?? 😂

SO, do ya have to register it for water ops? Florida made a Monster Truck owner register his as a boat for driving in the river. Stupid, but it is a powered water vehicle. He is even required to have all of the boating safety equipment for every passenger. BTW, that is an awesome setup. Love Sherps. The utility companies use them.

It’s been a whole sense you’ve guys posted sherp stuff but what model do you prefer the sherp pro xt or the original and why?
Big Sherp fan but getting down to numbers, can or should anyone spend 250k? On something to go slopping around in the mud and so on. At the price it seems to not be a Jeep replacement but just something for State wilderness maintenance work etc

With a top speed of 25mph these are crawlers when compared to most reg off road vehicles along with a low cargo weight capacity it is a lot of money to spend.
The only real benefits are its ability to navigate tight areas, water, and steep inclines. But how far from civilization can it go with the other limits.
Increase cruising speed and range and I might consider it.
Sherps set the world record for the farthest amount of land traveled using no roads. They traversed the farthest eastern part of Russia to the farthest western part of Russia using no roads.
They have the best fuel range on the market. With the auxiliary fuel tanks full, you could travel from east to west across the USA without refueling.
Make it happen in the Florida Keys. Bring it out and fish it.

This design was invented by a russian. He wanted to build a factory in Russia, but the russian authorities did not let him do it, because they decided that Sherp was not suitable for the army, so it was not needed. Therefore, the russian sold the rights to his invention to ukrainians, who put it on the assembly line. They also opened another plant in Russia with their own funds, but due to russia's attack on Ukraine and the fact that this plant supported that attack, it was stripped of the right to officially build Sherps (although it still builds unlicensed copies). I don't know why the Armenians are here.

The only problem with this vehicle is if you do manage to get it stuck nothing short of a helicopter can get it out.
It’s built to not get stuck, that’s the point of the build and the motto they use… you can’t make this stuff up, some of you people are so slow lmaooo
