I like the way you have done this. Instead of heading straight to Cuzco and dealing with jetlag and altitude sickness. You've done it the other round - Pisca, Nazca, Arequipa etc and ending up in Cuzco
This is wonderful info, Charles! Thanks so much! I;m taking notes because plan to visit Peru soon. i couldn't do it with, in part, your advice and info. Your research and tips are invaluable! THANK YOU!!!!
Chifa, is a fusion of Peruvian and Chinese gastronomy, the result is an unbelievable gastronomy, even better than Chinese, all the tourists say that. Whenever you have a chance, try Chifa is so good !! ...I think that's Why Peruvian food is now on the top. About Nazca lines , is much better when you take a flight over them, you're gonna be convinced they were made by aliens.
Great work my friend! Thank you so much! There is so much to see from Peru. Hope the authorities or Peru representatives can see that so they could promote more about the beauty of Peru. Thanks so much again!❤🌠🌟☀️🌞. By the way the change of guard is everyday at noon🌞☀️🌟❤🌠
so you saw 4 world heritage sites (Lima, Nasca, Arequipa, Cusco), One wonder of the world (Machu Picchu), One of the deepest Canyons on the planet (Colca), one of the enigmas of archaeology (Nasca Lines), the biggest megalithic mystery on the planet (Sacsayhuaman) and enjoyed one of the food destinations in the world (Lima) for so little money? Lucky you!
Nice informative video off the beaten path approach to exploring Peru. I would caution to do proper research before selecting a zip line company adventure. Family friend passed when her zip line broke during one X-mas holiday.
leaving for Peru next week..after seeing your video I booked the best in transport , planes and guides...some of your adventure doesn't look very fun...also when I look at the work that goes into the craft, cooking the food, driving me, and tolerating my lack of Spanish I can not in good faith, stand and haggle the value of their good work...I just pay their price and enjoy their wide smiles. thanks for a great look at the inside if the culture,,,
You deserve WAY more views and subscribers!! How about creating small snippets from your upcoming videos to upload everyday in order to get the TH-cam algorhythm work for you? People's attention span is very low and they only watch long videos if they are already "hooked" to your channel and have built a habit to watch you regularly. But if they don't know your channel they first need to be lured in and establish the habit to watch you regularly. And this will not happen if you upload only long videos with a huge time gap between them instead of more frequently.
Yup, I am in the process of doing that... I just have one more full episodes I needed to completed as part of my obligation and I'll start doing cutting the highlights :) Thanks for watching!!!
Hi Charles, how long was the trip? 1 week? Is there a place from where I can get the itinerary/travel log as I plan to travel to Peru and would like to follow your footsteps.
@@KristinaMasseyandBeyond hi, you could go to iquitos city, is the largest city in peruvian amazon and is in the side of amazonas river, this city is far and only can go with airplane.
For local Peruvians, in less touristy restaurants, a MENU referred to a whole meal consisting of soup, entree, dessert and refreshment, at a set price, many times you have options to personalize your meal Look for the signs announcing it and enjoy it !!!
Hi Charles! Amazing video! I’m planning a trip to Peru next month for only 8 days. Could you please tell me what I need to do, to book a trip to Macchu Picchu? Please include transportation and tour cost, and where to stay. The internet is overwhelming, and the information is all over the place. 🤔😳 Thanks in advance my friend!
Hi!! What is the hike called along the train tracks going to Aguas Calientes? And also the hike you did to get to Machu Picchu?? Was that hike free or did you have to book in advance? How long did that take you?? Thanks 😊
If the video had been separated by cities it would be excellent, the video is very long and I wanted a break .. But avoid it because it is very entertaining
Your after budget but ended up going on arduous trek, no free meal on package gotten, and more expenses, but I think you're after those. I'll prefer a straightforward trip because it would have been easy to board a bus from Cuzco (bringing only a backpack) to Ollantaytambo, then from there board a Peruvisn train to Aguas Calientes. Stay overnight, and first thing in the morning board an early bus that goes to Machu Picchu & then return at Soles 12 each way. Then by 10:00 AM upon return to Aguas Calientes to board train back to Ollantaytambo then to Cuzco.where one left the bigger luggage.
What time of the month did you visited? I’m planning on going mid January and wish to go to machupichu but have been told that is not a good time to go? What’s your intake?
huh? I wasn't asking for National Geographic... honestly, you guys need to get a gimbal for your filming since you are doing this semi-professional youtube channel.
i know you were trying to show how to do this on a budget but i feel you encountered more problems/delays/extra expenses than if you had just payed a little bit more...
just curious how did you manage to bargain the trip to 80 sols for the day trip to the rainbow mountain? do you recommend we book when we are there and bargain? wanted to book in advance but the price ranges from $50-$150 which is outrageous. thanks.

Great video dude! If you intend to come to brazil, let me know. Flying drones over there is ok?
I got special permission but drone failed in high altitude
Could you please tell me the steps you took for getting that permission?

Ok, thanks!
