    very helpful video. I am planning to do the same trip. I don't want to do a travel agency exccept when I have to in order to get up to Machu Picchu. Thanks. I'll be there at the begining of June.

    Hi Joseph, great vlog bud and thanks for the pointers at the end. One question, I saw where you had waited in the 9am line at Aguas Calientes to go to MP. You also stated that your entry time to MP was 9am. How does this work? Do the 9am buses leave minutes in advance to make it to MP by 9? Need some clarity here. Thanks!

    • @horizoneyeproject
      @horizoneyeproject  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you! So our ticket for MP was for 9am. A lot of people, including myself thought we would have to stay in the 8am bus, thinking it will bring us to MP for 9am. That’s not the case tho, if your MP ticket says 9am you stand in the 9am bus line. Also be early to your bus, line grows fast!

    What was the station called for Aqua Calientes on Perurail? I am having a hard time finding the trip from Cusco to Aqua

    • @horizoneyeproject
      @horizoneyeproject  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "Operated by Inca Rail, the Aguas Calientes Station to Cusco service departs from Aguas Calientes Station and arrives in Ave. El Sol 843 , Cusco." I found this online. It seems to just be called Aguas Calientes Station! I believe once you get on PeruRail from Cusco it only stopo in Agus !

    I was reading on the perurail website that you cannot bring luggage, only a bookbag. Is this consistent with your experience? I would have to keep a airbnb in cusco for the entire time if I cannot bring luggage

      Hey there! Unfortunately I only had my backpack on me so Im unsure about that. I didn't see anyone with luggage tho so that may be he case!

    did you buy tickets to MP on your own? I don't think that is possible now. Or did you use a local tour agency?

      Hi there! We did buy our tickets on our own. My partner bought them but I believe this is the site we used!

    Did you pay cash/sol or credit cards for food? Was there additional fees for using credit cards?

    • @horizoneyeproject
      @horizoneyeproject  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We had Sol for most of our trip, once we ran out near the end we used credit card!

    Hi! What time was y’all’s flight from Lima to Cusco? Also, do you mind sharing contact info for your transportation to/from airport

    • @horizoneyeproject
      @horizoneyeproject  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Transportation is through our airbnbs that we used! If you’re using the Airbnb’s we used in the video they will provide safe travels! Also our flight to Cusco was roughly around early morning and we got there later in the afternoon, which gave us time to explore! Once in Cusco you’ll need to acclimatize for 2 days before heading to Machu Picchu!

      @@horizoneyeproject Awesome! I did reach out to the AirB&B host in Miraflores and he gave me transportation info/contact. Was the location in walking distance to that coffee shop ? We went to to have a little time to explore and then get to flight to Cusco so that like you said, we can acclimatize since we are doing the 5 Day trek to Machu Pichu

    Could i be so bold as to ask what your entire trip cost?

    • @horizoneyeproject
      @horizoneyeproject  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely! So per person is was $800 round trip for flight (Halifax-Lima) we booked in advance! Then airbnbs per person were around $500 for 7 days. And for food and other stuff probably about $300. So in total around $1600-$1800 per person for 7 days!
