For the initial question, I can say as a Jaipurite, people here have a looooot of free time. There is a big population of rich young adults here, who have generational wealth and have nothing better to do than roam around in their cars with their friends exploring. This culture has been borrowed from Delhi. Cafes are just the perfect hangout spot for such people.

They spoke about provident fund. In this a decent part goes as a family pension scheme contribution. After you turn 58 or 60 you start getting a pension for self and later for your spouse. The amount t of pension depends on the number of years of service you’ve contributed to PF Believe me even most of the HR guys are not aware of such facility leave alone the process of withdrawals. In my view hundreds of crores are lying unclaimed with EPFO on this. Especially if persons who worked for a few years in India on initial years and later migrated out
One more to this is the full PF contribution and restricted contribution. Another point is persons not availing PF facility as it is considered optional beyond certain limit of salary. Most companies do t encourage PF because of legal and compliance issues too. This happens especially when a person changes his jobs for better salary and comes out of PF scope. In initial years he would have contributed for family pension and later it would stop. That way he looses out a major part of a future income flow in form of a pension
to be fair, in my 18 year career, i have seen atleast 13 ppl(since 2006, direct colleagues and juniors) who have absconded. most recent one during covid period, didnt even bother to return laptop, and i am talking about well known companies with large HR and recruit departments not some fraud obscure companies. so its not always companies which are evil. On top of this, zoom interviews also 1 guy i caught where someone in the background was talking.

Right to fair employement Mein jao toh bond is not legal.. Therefore the contract itself is null and void and is not enforceable, I have left a company with that clause they couldn't do anything.. Non compete is also not enforceable if you are an employee, if u have other interests other than ur salary say a part or profit then it might be.
