    What are the chances for pediatric physiotherapist in Germany with 6mnths experience and no masters degree?

    • @physionitinarora

      I can answer that question if you can furnish some more detail. I mean if there’s no masters degree then I would not consider that person as pediatric physiotherapist. But maybe I’m not getting your question well. Would be happy to answer though.

    Hello, I'm from the United States and I've completed my bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences (Pre-Med). In the USA, this degree allows for me to apply directly into a doctorate of Physical Therapy Program (Physiotherapy). However, I'm highly interested in going to school in Germany due to the low amount of money I'd have to spend to pursue a post graduate degree. I'm still confused on the process to receive my doctorate of physiotherapy in Germany. Do I need to obtain my masters degree in Physiotherapy first, then apply for my PhD in Physiotherapy in Germany? Or can I apply directly into a PhD of Physiotherapy due to the fact that I've completed my Bachelors Degree (Typical pathway to obtain Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the USA).
    The second question I have is, what are the names of these programs at German Schools. When I search "Masters of Physiotherapy" or "PhD of Physiotherapy" for German Schools I can't seem to find anything. Do I search for "Masters in Exercise Science" as you suggested in the video, or is this degree related to another field?
    Very similarly to you, I'm interested in pursuing Physiotherapy in both the Sports and Neuroscience concentrations. At the 5:00 minute mark of this video, you began talking about a program of Physiotherapy that includes both the Sports and Neuroscience concentrations. What is the exact name of the program that I should apply for in order to purse this type of degree in Germany. Is it "Masters in Exercise Science"? Or is it Something else?

    • @physionitinarora
      @physionitinarora  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Taj, thanks for your feedback and query. Well, if you would like to pursue a PhD in Germany, you would first need to get a masters degree. The masters can be from any country (including the United States). For PhD, you can search for PhD in Exercise Science, sports science, cardiopulmonary science and so on. The name doesn't matter much as long as your supervisor is a physiotherapist or sports scientist. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other query.

    I was hoping you could help me. It seems there is a school for physiotherapy in Germany. In Canada, you need a bachelor's degree, followed by a masters degree in physiotherapy. My research indicates there is a 3 year physiotherapy program that would make you a physiotherapist, but is not the same as a degree, nor does it grant you one. There are over 250 physiotherapy schools where you can do this, but I cant seem to find any? My search only finds university degrees. I must be missing something
