Before I have a honor 8x and same problem with this honor 50.. The lighting in terms of video si horrible.. Then I switched to huawei nova 5t.. Now my 5t is 2 yrs and 5 months old. And I still love it. ❤️

Ok so, I can clearly see honor 50 video is terrible (that black mist lol), all the darkish colors, and clunky stabilization on steps. Am looking for youtube vids phone, and in video quality Nova rocks in Your video (not interested in photos much). BUT half of every video is audio quality, and nova internal mic sounds so TERRIBLE, in audio honor is clear winner. That leaves me sadly mixed, I wish there have been Nova 9 phone with Honor 20 mic :-), THAT was till end of your video, where recording through earbuds looks damn gamechanging !! . I just wish You did play a bit more with VLOG/multicamera mode, since that is whole reason am looking on this, no every phone can do this, and would love to know if You can have front camera in circle or only in square, if You can zoom while recording in multicamera if You can pause, if You can drag window while recording. And if earbuds work in this mode? Those feebuds cost pretty a lot 100$ like 1/4 of phone, but still Honor 50 goes 500$ and Nova 9 goes for 300$ which is boomer price. Although huawei cant use store nor TH-cam . So in the end I guess I go for Nova 9, or have You probably alternate phone advice for dual video + good mic recordings :?)

My Nova 5T takes much better photos and videos than Honor 50 ... I can't wait for May 2022, so I can buy Nova 9. By May, there will be more software ironing that will improve everything that is missing with software. The new 9 has a beautiful screen, not too big but just right for the hand. I am thrilled with Nova 9. Thanks again for the detailed comparison, you helped a lot ... you were alive for another 200 years. 💙
That's not true. Camera quality on the honor 50 is worse than on the Huawei nova 9 due to Honor’s lack of access to Huawei’s photography processing IP. This makes a huge difference.
