This one was a little heavy on the "what" for my taste, with questions and train of thoughts you would find in a debate or in a regular interview.
Do you feel you approached it differently than usual ?
I did like the question about what it would look like if the problem was fixed (or however you phrased it)

Yes, this was when I started experimenting with exploring a problem and how they know their solution is a sufficient solution instead of a knowledge claim and how they know the claim is true. I probably could have done a better job at making it more of a challenge for Colin.

When a character like Moana is introduced as an original creation, there's no pre-existing image or expectation that viewers bring with them, which allows the character to be more easily accepted as authentic and integral to the story. In contrast, when an established character is reimagined with a different race or gender without any narrative explanation, it can feel like the change is forced rather than natural. Creating original characters from diverse backgrounds allows for more genuine representation, as it gives the story and the character their own space to grow and resonate with the audience. So I would say the real problem isn't the fact that they're pandering so much as the fact they are not as capable of original creations as they used to be... Great discussion! 😬👍
