Buddy: On your first measurment of the switch the values were not bouncing but counting down. If this instrument just uses DC then the dissimilar metals react. Reverse polarity and see! compare this with a Fnirsi HRM-10 and Hioki engineers will do a Seppuku.
Thanks for the input. OVC is new to me and documentation on this meter is not the best from my stand point. I'm not even sure if they use the technique of reversing the polarity to compensate for thermal EMF or they use another method. That is what my research came up with. I'm just hoping to create a series of videos to help the technicians who have this meter for Hybrid or electric vehicle testing to show them the features and how to use them.
