As a mechanic i applaud you for how well you did on your explination on how the breather works .. when the pressure builds high enough it moves the check valve in the breather and lets it escape
Seriously appreciate this video. I was curious about the front diff and the transfer case diff lines and you answered those questions This is helpful thank you
Hey there! Thank you so much for all your comments 👊😁 we appreciate them greatly. As for the extra fittings we had search a good bit online for the correct size and thread type. It’s been so long now we aren’t sure where exactly we found them but we simply looked up the part description as it was listed on the ARB website.
Just came across your channel and I really like all your maintenance videos on the 2nd gen they're very informative but not boring and I appreciate that! +1 Sub 🎉
Welcome, we are happy to have you subscribed! Thank you for the compliment on the maintenance and install vids, it’s nice to know they are appreciated as we know they are different compared to some of our other stuff, but working on the vehicle after the wheeling is done is totally an adventure in itself!
Great install vid, been thinking about this and you helped me pull the trigger. Do you have a link for the extra pressure fitting? I can probably figure it out but I'm lazy... :D
Hey, thanks Jackalope! I appreciate your help and insight for going with the ARB. We try to treat this adventure called life as a learning experience every step of the way and helpful insight from others along the way is always appreciated!
I never understood people with snorkels that would run the diff breather into the snorkel and make it even higher. Cut a hole slip the hose in and silicon it all together. BOOM now one level covers everything.
On our 2nd Gen tacoma the front diff breather is high enough, we simply wanted to include it in the video to be thorough and to bring all of our diff breathers into the same manifold since the ARB Kit accommodates it as well.
If you’re new to Central Florida, go check out Citrus WMA. It is one of our best off-roading spots. Great campsite there too- Holder Mine. Be sure to download some maps ahead of time and stay on designated trails.
Thanks for reaching out with your question, that’s an unfortunate story. The bumper is a Pelfreybilt aluminum plate number and they were one of the hot custom fabricators for Toyotas back a few years ago. They are unfortunately out of business now. We would recommend Bay Area Metal Fab as they bought out the Pelfreybilt company and have carried along most of the same designs but tougher. For a more generic off-road bumper, CBI off-road does an excellent job as well.

Where did you purchase the extra ARB fittings at?
Very good. You definitely needed that.

Nice finger action 😂
I’ve watched many videos about this mod, no one mentioned the front diff. Is front diff high enough?

Hi there, may i ask what water storage or water container you have back of your truck?
It’s an 8 gallon weekender from the company WaterPort, we love it.
Very good sir.
Hey I just moved to Central Florida, any suggestions for places to wheel?
