Agree with the comment: "The alternative (Marxist Communism), would have been too ghastly" In other words a coalition with the far Left (EFF) & Tribalist Socialist MK would have been a disaster on almost every level for South Africa. The ANC+DA led coalition is more Centrist and business friendly with multi-racial Social Responsibility, so as a white South African, I feel this is a good start away from the destructive black only PanAfricanist Marxist ideologies of the past... ❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
This coalition seems like an ANC lead coalition then a DA and ANC collective. Looking at the poles, the ANC is nearly double the DA. The coalition would still survive without the DA numerically.
I find it od how MK is called tribalist or ethno nationalist. Wen they organization itself has denied this. They didn't go campaigning on a ticket of "vote for us, because we zulu". They didn't pledge any aligiance to the zulu monarch. It's popularity is based around Zuma. I see nothing wrong with that.
Afrikaners left the DA for the FF+. Wen maimane was leader. Would you call the FF+ an ethnic based party. Many coloured started voting for PA. Would it also be tribalist?.
On these elections the mk and EFF combined has more support than the DA. So more south Africans see these "radical" parties as an option than the right wing DA.
I personally have alot hope in the gnu and wish them well, regardless of who they are.
@@bafanamahlatse1923 they did say vote for us we are zulu haha they only really went to KZN to get votes. The only people that really voted for them are the zulu people thats why 99.9% of their votes are in KZN. They promised the zulu monarach a lot of things like more power over their land.
