" if the ANC is doing to you what apartheid government did, do unto the ANC what you did with the apartheid government " Nelson Mandela
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Mandela was deceived by the international friends of the apartheid government to pursue "truth & reconciliation". He was given a noble peace prize & told to shut up. Mandela should have taken that piece of paper & written justice over reconciliation. Until Africans get justice peace will only be an illusion. The past 24 years after apartheid, the white minority have been telling us how badly the ANC wrecked the South African economy. This is just a smoke screen to divert the attention from the real issue "JUSTICE". Africans never got justice.
If SA becomes the coIoniaI's best friend in Africa (which is likely to happen, given the DA's involvement), then yes. I agree.
South Africa will find a way to go forward; how can it not? They've been through too much. 🙏🇿🇦🙏
The only solution is removing Anc and DA for
Good
Thank you 💚
The only way that the criminal ANC would have agreed to a coalition, is if the DA and IFP gave them an undertaking that the criminals in the ANC, like Ramapoesa will NEVER be prosecuted.... The DA was never against corruption, they were only upset that they could not partake in the looting of the state....They are so eager to get their snouts in the trough of corruption, it is disgusting. You have now revealed your true nature....You are a bunch of traitors and criminals just like the ANC....
Thank you 🙏🏽🇿🇦 . We will indeed!
By joining the corrupt ANC just to get their snouts in the trough of corruption?
Congratulations to all the parties who have worked out a plan work together for the good of the citizens of South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
One thing I am glad for about this new government is that we can be absolutely sure the we are getting a new minister of police. The country is crying for that change.
Same lol. Cele was no good. I just hope Pandor stays, as she was great.
Procedure is going very well. For the first time we are seeing real democracy in Parliament also and all are in good spirit. I have high hopes for SA. A new dawn looms. ANC, IFP and DA all good leaders and we are glad things are moving this way. We need to be represented by all in government.
You’re lying in public 😂🚮
Are you high? What about this government makes you excited? Let's talk policies, Palestine being one, the DA is super zionist and not the ANC is at the ICJ. BRICS? Land reform? Sasa Grants? This is madness and we can thank the Zionist money thrown in to ensure no party supporting Palestine comes out on top.
Eh which one is this one
DA is fudementaly intrested in pure capital, they dont care about people of colour.
Please then enlighten us with the truth...
So happy as a South African to be able to look forward to a bright future. Good luck GNU
The future looks bright. God bless our beautiful country🇿🇦
You don't understand...
We are happy for the GNU may the God of peace be with our country and all the politicians that want peace and unity in our country please no war but peace and accept the GNU 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
There was never war treat at the first place you just easily control by media spreading fake news
There is no Gnu, there's a coalition between anc and da

South Africa will grow from strength to strength now. Now, our people have spoken. Best move the ANC, DA, IFP and PA could have made. No more corruption and improvements will come fast.
Wait till the next pestilance and they force you to be chipped and control your every move, then you will understand what really happened here and who they are all serving.
Thank you for the great quality of journalism! Great questions with interesting answers - more power to these producers!
Man, I love South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
They have to figure it out amongst themselves and solve these problems that way we can blame all 3 parties for the next 4 years if things don't change.

As a South African, we are delighted at the Government of National Unity. We will prosper! Let's go South Africa!! 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🛐
yes
you must be a European or a black South African who doesn’t know the countries history. This is disgusting! The ancestors who were killed and tortured by the Apartheid regime supported by America and the United Kingdom must be turning in their graves. SMH
I feel my support and fighting for the end of apartheid was wasted with the DA in government.
I also supporting also GNU phambile
@@lionchampion587 you're the one that does not know the history of South africa if you're associating the DA with the apartheid regime. The NP merged with the ANC in 2005 yet we've never called ANC an apartheid regime, why is that?

The most interesting country I lived in… Time to move back.
What was interesting or what's interesting about the country?
So you ran away when things were bad???? But loved it in the old days ?????😂😂😂😂
Give this GNU at least 12months before you make a move!
😂😂😂 my man were you in exile? You can come back now we have fought for you, you are our new hero because all who ran away while we fight becomes heroes
Some of these responses might make you want to change your mind 🤗 It's okay to travel and even live in different countries, but most here never had the opportunity 🙂I hope that will change as our economy improves.
Hopefully now there won't be too much corruption
Great discussion, from a local. We are very optimistic.
Ongama, taking a realistic stance. Brilliant. Debatable but brilliant.
Imagine having a country where the national bank is individually owned, where over 70% of the economy is in the hands of the apartheid power, that's what Nelson Mandela ended the deal to the so-called independence. South Africa is sick, and until the basic illness is cured, the sufferings will never end
💯. And now all the sacrifices and blood spilled over a free South Africa is wasted because the things fought for are lost. This is a very sad day in South Africa. The NP2.0 is back in power and things will just get worse. We needed revolution not rainbow stickers over a clearly zionist bought government.
The land must be returned and economic freedom realised for the majority. I will keep fighting but I am disgusted by how easily everyone betrayed the future of the African child.
Would you rather the national bank be owned by the government? Because that has worked so well for Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Argentina etc.
Imagine living un a country where you benefit from preferential public spending, preferential legislation and political dominance for 30 years and still blaming people that dont look like you. Now you scared of a 20% party that is not gonna be able change anything? You right South Africa is sick
The federal reserve system in the US is a conglomerate of private-owned banks...your point?
@@tashansofwa2426 Nearly every country on earth has a state owned central bank.
As a democracy. South Africa voted for who they want and as with everything, some would be unhappy.
South Africa didn't VOTE FOR THE ANC or DA. Ballot papers were rigged in order to add ballot papers to ANC and DA because this marriage of convenience has been planned prior the elections. ANC has been planning with DA behind everyone's back to ensure that once they lose the ELECTIONS, DA should be there for them and they FORM COALITION and disguise it as GNU. ANC BETRAYED THE SOUTH AFRICANS AND TRUST ME, IT'S GOING TO END IN TEARS. Wait and watch !!
The problem with those against GNU is power they want to rule and they did not get the majority please accept and move on be good participants as people are watching you they can not continue to vote for aggressive people and disruptive members only those seeking peace IFP will win next election for supporting peace in our country
The ANC choosing the DA as its coalition partner is a shortsighted decision to appease markets that will lead to significantly worse outcomes for the majority of our citizens.
The DA is much better than the disastrous radical socialist’s of the EFF.
I prefer them Choosing DA instead of MK
so you prefer a marxist country for the majority of your citizens , where very few will have a job and health and services collapse. That is the option that ANC faced
We will win with the GNU! Parties who respect the constitution working together is a great and powerful move.
@@joannebottcher9779which party are those ?
DA prove people of SA wrong by working peacefully with ANC and IFP as well as NFP and PA wishing you a peaceful leading of our country to great hights🎉🎉🎉❤

They wanted to impeach him, and now they magically want to work with him, 🤔🤔🤔
Cyril and John they voted for themselves but God will put them down it will never last in the name of Jesus Christ 🙏🇿🇦
Yeah dude. I thought democracy is supposed to reflect the peoples' decision. Most people voted for left-wing pro-African parties. But we have rlght-wing pro-west parties in the GNU instead.
No talk on reduction of ministries now that multiple parties are involved?
it should eventually get there, if the three different points of view see that it should.
That should be inevitable given budget constraints and having to argue about it.
It will be decided in good time.
Foreign policy a major concern!
It is a major concern especially the Russia -Ukraine war and Palestine.
Mbalula said they will still be in control on their international positions. This however open spaces for DA on domestic policy which will likely be felt immediately by the citizens.@@zaynthulare6401
Foreign Policy!? Why? are you supporting the genocide?

It's a ANC - DA coalition not this nonsensical thing of government of unity.
if this combination works. people will support the DA.
Why cant we as the people not ELE CT our President?

@@TshepoTsokodibane Africa belongs to Africans. White rule is an abomination. period!!!.
Maybe they have looked to the utter shambles that the rest of Africa is and have decided to take another path.
Shut up and fix your country
You do not have a government of national unity if the society is divided by social classes.
Social classes are like geologic structures. They are never permanent, always changing.
What you have is a government that has become the center ring of a boxing match between the Right and Left through which the social classes express their class interests.
For now there may be a lot in common and compatibility between political parties but behind the veil of unity is the hideous and monstrous face of social and economic inequality has to be dealt with before there can be any sense of national unity.
Unanimity is impossible in societies of different social classes. None of the governing parties are ever going to get a majority to hold for any long length of time for the simple reason that one formula does not fit for all. The best a government can do is be unanimous about not applying generalizations to every particular difference in habitat, community, tribe or socal order. If one county lacks roads and the other lacks electricity the wrong thing to do is nothing.
Ramaphosa has sold South Africans down the creek
You want corruption to continue?
@@nhlanhlanene4847 No, but I'd take that over becoming a coIoniaI beacon in Africa - one that's friendly with lmperiaIists. Not an ANC supporter (in fact, I've supported DA for most of my life until recently) but I actually agree with those who aren't satisfied with this.
This man in the centre fell asleep😂😂🙈
Why cant all of them form and coalition and win 100% of the vote. Don't they all want the same thing, which is better economy? Politics is funny.
Why can't the Democrats just form a coalition with the Republicans? After all they all want the same thing , prosperity for their people.
This GNU is represented by only 58% of the South African voter population. What about the remaining 42%?
Everyone was asked to join, some decided not to join. The ‘94 GNU had a 10% vote threshold, this time everyone was welcome to join, even 1% parties like FFPlus and ActionSA, the declined.
I am proud of us

"Government of National Unity"
Best wishes! the world is changing and very fast, now if people wait too long, all will be lost. we have hit the event horizon
Testing a coalition government for the first. I reckon South Africans should give it a go and see what change they bring. What is surprising, though, is how quickly they reached the agreement to put together deals to form this upcoming government of National Unity.
If the ANC joins with Zuma we can bury our beloved country
Better than the racist and murderous National Party. At least Zuma is not a deceptive racist murderer.

I think it’s a good thing for South Africa. I think they’re actually going to be going in a better direction than they have been over the last 30 years. The EFF with Julius Malema at the Helm has served its purpose. It has scared that country into getting its act together. Maybe now they’re parliament sessions won’t look like a junior high classroom where the teacher has lost control of the students. I used to watch their parliament on TH-cam and it was the most incredible thing I have ever seen in my life. Firstly , the conflict in the middle east is not high on the Agenda in South Africa. There are much more pressing issues going on in SA, I would guess the Isreal issue was probably discussed for 15 min in the negotiations.
Secondly Johannesburg is and was the richest city in Africa, far wealthier than Cape Town. The ANC have managed to sink Jhb down and the DA have lifted Cape Town up.
Domestic and Foreign policies are dealt with separately.
@@kusaselihlengubane8984 really? Please explain to me what you mean.
People can be good at segregating many things, but that usually doesn't relate to their character, morals, values and prejudices. Are you suggesting that someone would support racist apartheid policies domestically, but not internationally or vice versa?
@@Antieverything255 human rights should always be high on everyone's agenda! Are you suggesting that because I live in the US I should not have boycotted companies engaged in business with South Africa during those years?
@user-fh1po4tn1l It's not my fault that certain issues are not high on people's agenda. I am merely stating an observation . The reality is that for most South Africans , domestic issues are top of the list , the middle east conflict did not shape voting patterns in South Africa, just the same as the high levels of corruption and crime in South Africa would not affect presidential elections in USA.
The South African govt acting, according to the South African constitution were obliged to take Isreal to the ICJ, yet 5 months later, the voters punished them at the polls. Nothing to do with Isreal and ICJ.

Given currently there are three major components of DIVERSITY in South Africa dictating the polarities and divergences in political views of governing their nation, is it possible the following conclusion as a political reality of government of any group of human societies??
The three components of DIVERSITY in South Africa are: The 1st group with perspective of addressing the issues of TheWhites, the 2nd group with the perspective to address issues of The Blacks and the third group is the members the group that doesn't identify themselves to the outlook of both sides (The Whites and The Blacks.)
Conclusion:-
It only takes from 25 to 35 years or maximum of 20 to 40 years for any group (of a nation) to repeat the injustice, bad governance and corruption leading the majority to poverty and its related impacts ( believed to be the driving factor for triggering the the group struggle) after the group triumphantly conquers it's predecessors dubbed to be the causes of their political struggles that brought the change. Meaning, in the case of South Africa, it only took 30 years for ANC to repeat the mistakes and errors that their predecessors (what was called the Apartheid system governance that triggered the evolution of ANC at some point in timeline, T) when we observe what is happening there in South Africa by now (ANC lost trust and legitimacy of it's own constituent members for whom their cause of their political program focused starting from the time when ANC crafted a political party and program to address the interest of the majority of South African societies).
