- Hello friends in this video we are testing 11 types of invisible inks ,all of them available in our home. These inks will transform into other chemicals with color when heated and thus can be used as a heat activated invisible ink. First we will write the name of the substance we are testing using the same substance and then we will dry that in sunlight and then using matches or lighter we will heat the paper , when we heat the paper the invisible ink will change its color and the hidden message will get exposed. Make sure that you don't burn the paper while heating. For your honey ink, do you mix it water or something to thin it? If so, whatis the mix ratio? Thanks!
There's no strict ratios in this case. Mix water according to the ease to write. Do not mix too much water.

How exactly would you go about making a "_____ Solution"? Just mixing it with water? For example, for the honey solution, would you simply mix honey with water, and that's it?
Solution is made to make it like a writable ink. Otherwise the more concentrated the more better. So adding water until the substance becomes writable ink is the way.

Add water until honey becomes less viscous and become writable ink.

For example when the lemon juice is heated the carbon compounds break down. This produces carbon which is black or brown. The compound reacts with air which causes oxidation a chemical reaction.
