Diving For Halibut in Northern California

- No fish were harmed in this video, nor was any of the footage shot in Humboldt County. Depths ranged from 3ft to 12ft. This footage did not come from a bay, but rather was shot on open coastline 300 yards offshore of a sandy beach.
Video was taken on one day in mid-July, 2011.

The camera is a GoPro HD shooting in 1080p, with a (scratched) MAKO replacement lens.

The fins are Picasso Camu fiberglass.
@kaldiver Nope. Those little guys are sand dabs, the medium one that I panned around was a sand sole, and the only halis were the two at the end. Thanks!
