    This worked on my 5th gen, 2010 4runner. Thank you! I wasn't quite sure how to remove those inner bands, but following your instructions I was able to remove and reuse them. Thanks.

    Wouldn’t a hose clamp work better instead of a zip tie?

    Excellent video, thank you for sharing this! I have a 2006 Sienna and need to replace the passenger inner tie rod. Have done plenty of outers but never an inner. Thank you again!

    Much appreciated on the step-by-step process. Process seems simple enough, so thanks for that. Gotta say tho, not using torque specs for outer tie rod castle nut seems like you're inviting trouble down the road.

    Good video, except you say counter clockwise for both turns and on the bolt and the tie rod, and the spin in different directions

    I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma it was a popping noise when I turn my steering wheel to the left/right. Is it the tie rod?

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Noah Simao that’s a possibility it also could be a ball joint or at the bottom of the strut the bushing goes bad and makes that noise.

    What if each side of the outter tie rods is a different amount of turns, what do you do then?

    • @Studly1
      @Studly1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Count the rotations driver side & passenger side might be different.

  • @MastahMarc6
    @MastahMarc6 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Quick ? I have to get 2 of each correct?

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      MastahMarc6 you can do it one side at a time. So you would get one inner and one outer tire rod.

    ...Uh did you mean 2005-2015 Taco? Or was it built in late '04 and it's an '05 model year? Because it's definitely a second gen, not a first gen.

      @WhiteBoyRoachh 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Don’t be a smart ass Yk them years is a 2nd gen taco. Talking about they 2004 is a first gen 😂 not late 2004 when they was making the new ones like you said but you just wanted to be heard. You must be a gen Z baby 😂
