It could also help if English isn't your first language and would like to know what the various parts are called.

This is Gerhard from Chicago.... Your (2) videos on the Zest are excellent. To the point that I decided to get one. Except I'm hesitating between the RS Zest and the RS NEO I'm aesthetically more attracted to the RS NEO, and think its a more agile boat. - any comments please? I'm a beginner sailor.; but got the trophy at my sailing school for: "The Most Inspired Adult Sailor" ... I'm convinced I can do it..!
I'd have to say that I think the Zest is the better boat.
The Neo is the Quba hull - deep daggerboard - very similar to the zest but no 'bench' and not as spacious.
However, the Neo has the Aero rig - carbon fibre mast - so, If you want to look more 'racey' at your club, the Neo is the one, but the pivoting centreboard of the zest and layout wind it for me.

Joseph, do you think an older (no injuries, strong) sailor - 68 - can handle the Zest. I can pick my conditions and have lots of experience in Hobie (cat), Precision 18 (sloop), Sprint 750 (tri), but I want something light to use at the local sailing club in Sarasota FL - shallow water, no high fetch and can pick areas and conditions. Single handed 95% of the time, short rides for others here and there (but I can rent for that).
Yes, for sure. The Zest is a very forgiving boat, stable, spacious, comfortable and it has the volume and space to carry a second sailor.
It's not a high performance choice, but for just getting out and having fun sailing It's very good.

We are open from next Saturday. I've been out a few times but not yet for video.
Are these ok to have stored on a boat trailer? I think my front roller was too far back, the outer edges of the roller had more contact with the front of the hull and now there is a deformity on the bottom of my hull at that point. The excessive heat wave may be to blame. Do you have any tips on how to re form this plastic hull? You seem to know more about this boat than most.

I would go for the Zest, I don't really know the Topaz so well but the Zest certainly ticks all of the boxes
