It's not actually misadvertising. You used the two batteries in parallel. The car will probably reach the advertised 50mph if you connect the batteries in series, which doubles the voltage but the capacity stays the same as with one battery. The higher voltage makes the car go way faster.

I saw that your buggy was jerked around a lot, so if you want to make the suspension better for those bumps, you're going to want to first of all, loosen the springs (which you probably already know), and second of all, buy some shock oil that is less weight (for example: 20 or 30 weight). To get the 50mph you need to change the pinion gear.

you should review the wltoys a929, it goes 100kh on 6s

A Traxxas slash costs more, has less power and has a hcg plastic chassis. Also, this comes with lipos and a balance charger unlike the slash.
