I think newageincense.com sells genuine Nag Champa since everything there is imported from India, Also its wholesale so it's dirt cheap as well.
Check out Jivada from Devon Uk.All handmade by monks. I still buy Nag Champa but when I feel the need to push the boat out and burn something special it’s Jivada. They do a Nag champa but it’s like the sai BaBa one was in the 70’s

@IMPERIAL GANGLANDIA It looks as though there is a lot of very fine sawdust used to keep the sticks from glueing together. Not good to breathe.

Satya sai baba nagchampa incense are my favorite , I have tried others but I keep coming back to Satya sai baba nagchampa. It is very mild , soothing , sweety , pleasant ,soft and not to Smokey which is what I prefer . I don’t want it strong or bold

Many people from Rochester, NY get their first smell of Nag Champa at Aarons Alley, it is a small store that caters to hippies, sells Nag and drums, jewelry, clothing, concert tickets ... Recently my granddaughter was on her way up the stairs to my apartment where I'm always burning Nag, she says I smell grandpa, and I'm glad she will always think of me when she smells Nag.

I have to say that I've been buying and using Nag for 20 years. The smell and experience has changed over the years. I still love it today but I feel they have found a way to make it cheaper to maximize profits. That's about true for any successful business isn't it?
I too have been buying Nag Champa incense for 20 years! They are the best, and so far, I like 3 different kinds of Nag Champa. Nag Champa original, Super Hit, and Patchouli Forrest!
There are 2 kinds now. Some are labelled as coming out of Bangalore, some are made in Mumbai. From what I hear, the ones from Bangalore are still hand-rolled, and the original 'recipe', where as the ones from Mumbai, are machine made, and may not have the same contents. I noticed after I got a boxes of SuperHit from both. I noticed a difference in the two, and that was why I went searching for WHY. :) One of the two Nag Champas smells more soapy/perfumey than smooth and sweet now to me also.

You are not wrong, the quality went downhill. I have opened packages that are dry (not fresh and juicy) and the incense is falling off the stick.
@@eddieshell That has been true for years. My fav is Satya Sai Baba and even in its' reduced and diluted form is still the best incense I've ever smelled. It's almost like a drug. The first 1000 grams I bought I burned through in a month. Sometimes multiple sticks at a time. An old friend of mine turned me on to it who was a professional drummer for some serious bands and he said it's so powerful it's like an aphrodisiac. He said it got him laid many a times. Think I'll light a stick right now. Have to break open a new box though. :)

I have seen recent discussions around BNG vs Mumbai, which concerned me. My dad used to burn nag champa after having visited Sai Baba in a trip he made to india back in the 80s. I bought some BNG SSB and it smells divine, though noticeably different than the old ones. Still, nothing comes close to this incense.
Yes there are two different companies making same brand. It is upto the customer, he can buy whichever he likes.
