Crazy how the situation of womens work being published by male friends or husbands occurred until like the 1900s. Feels so archaic now but sadly only in recent times everyone get their deserved recognition

Badeni can be compared to Nicolaus Copernicus, who brought heiocentrism into the mainstream during the Renissance while also working as a Roman Catholic clergyman at the same time

Also writes books marked as forbidden back in the day. Idk if you read the manga but there will be info that can roughly confirmed time period this manga takes place with mention of historical people.

Thing is, in 'stagnant times' where each decade isn't remarkably different from the previous one, old folk are generally more experienced in the world. And since 'progressive' ideas are often not new, they'd be aware of it or understand the benefits of merit. So, it wouldn't be out of a question for an aristocratic old man to be wise and knowledgeable of the possibilities of a genius woman. There were quite a few number of famous women in the middle ages and early modern period.
But yeah, it was safer for Jolenta to not risk getting caught.

Crazy thing is that I can totally see Baldini attempting to use her as a stepping stone as well.

We all know who is the father's girl. Don't you recognise his voice? That's the man who shared the last moment of our MVP in jail. We have been introducedd to this girl when she was still a child in the first episode. the scenario is excellent.

    Thank you for your reaction!✨
After watching this episode, I was curious about how you Westerners talk about women's rights in the past.
Japan and the West sometimes have different views on freedom and rights.
    Because we have different cultures.
But I'm glad you all resonated with this episode.
That's why this work is a masterpiece that is accepted by people all over the world.🌏❤

Thing is though, Kolbe literally isn't doing anything wrong cause he really just genuinely thinks he's just looking out for Jolenta. Everything thing he said to Jolenta is true anyways like her bileing branded as a witch when they found out and burned at the stake, he's just going by with the common sense in that time, at least that's the way I see it.
TLDR : Kolbe did nothing wrong.

They had to have done voice modulation.
In ONE PIECE, they did voice modulation for a character whose identity wasn't supposed to be known, and it was right.

Even now, people individual efforts has problems been recognize in the public.
Most citation systems (e.g. APA) are surname based, and that should make fair play, but since surnames are genderless, women visibility is once again in the shadows.
Even if the author is a woman, since the surname is sometime like "Smith", most assume its a man. Some academics are pushing for new citation systems that priorize people's names. Doing that, all the Jolanta's out there contributing to science will be recognize as them, as Jolanta.
