It's looking good Lewis, can't wait for part two. Watching you do all these aquascapes as started me thinking about a change of look in my tank. It would however mean me moving on the majority of my livestock as I have a lot of geophagus and plants and geos don't go well together. The whole fish room will look epic once it's complete. Take care and stay safe mate.
Gotcha, that makes sense John! Well….given your tank and fish, I think you might like one of the next tanks I have coming up👍🏻 I’m certainly loving it so far!
Thanks mate. & yeah it’s getting there now! Appreciate you watching & supporting the channel. Part 2 and adding the fish will be coming within the next week👍🏻
Thanks I appreciate it! I still need to add a few more plants and maybe a small amount of wood. But I think once the plants grow in it’ll look great.👍🏻 thanks for watching!
Glad to see you put out a new video. I been watching your older stuff for the last few days and didn't know if you were still active. That being said, I have a question. The video that turned me onto your channel was the best sand for cichlids. I was all excited only to find out it's no longer available. What would you recommend for a currently available sand that doesn't effect pH, and won't make a cloudy mess of your tank? Thank for what you do. Best wishes.
Thanks for watching I appreciate it. The petsmart imagitarium sand would probably be my choice now for sand that doesn’t effect ph. I’ve used both the white and black and it works well👍🏻 I’ve also used the Caribsea sand recently for my blue neon setup. I’ll be doing a video on that soon so be sure to stay tuned👍🏻
So I have a 125 gallon and I’m thinking about downgrading to a 55 because it was used before I got it and my daughter is obsessed with getting into it. And I mean like in it. Feet first 😂 I am going to get angels. If you had my situation, would you build a childproof lid (glass not an option) and just deal? I really want a tank that doesn’t look old but I would put up with it if The 125 is a better idea.
Good Stuff Bro....Hoorah!!
Thanks for checking it out👍🏻

Thanks for the reply. How you feel about pool filter sand? Ever tried it?
@@DistinctOgre I have no tried it. I’ve heard it takes a lot of rinsing but after that it can work out well👍🏻

I went with a finer ground natural river gravel. 😁
Thanks again.

I’d just build a canopy or something like that👍🏻 that would put some additional height on the tank and prevent any climbers! Hahaha (hopefully)
