    Lynda Bellingham spoke to BBC Breakfast recently about her battle with cancer and her decision to stop having chemotherapy. The British actress and presenter died today aged 66, her agent has confirmed. Sue Latimer said she died yesterday "in her husband's arms".

    What a lady. She was only my age. She reminds me of my beloved sister who died of bowel cancer a few years ago. Her humour, her attitude. Never a victim and always thinking of others before themselves. I am sure they would have been best mates if they had met! God rest them both.

    So sad that all these youngish people are dying before they can claim their pensions yet the government are moving the goal posts saying we're living longer.
