  • In part two of our review of the Oneleaf Commander NV400 Eagle 2-26X50 4K Digital Day/Night Vision Scope, I take the scope mounted on a PSA rifle with an 18” stainless steel barrel in 223 Wylde and test it at the range. Shooting PMC Bronze 223 ammunition, I sight in the scope and do some shooting both at twilight and after dark on a moonless night. We check to see how well the scope illuminates targets between 50 and 200 yards using the IR flashlight provided in the package while using the IR range finder to check our distance.

I'm impressed! You own the night! The one thing holding you back is the rifle bag and table. Very impressive. I hope we see more nighttime shooting.

Thanks Frank! It really was a lot of fun to use. I really didn't expect it to work this well. My few experiences with night vision had not been that positive. But this scope gave me some clear images at distances with the IR flashlight. Lets see how it holds up.

That's at least 5 times the scope I would ever need, but I can see why a serious hunter might want one. I might've missed you mentioning it, but what flashlight are they using, or is integral to the scope?

Thanks for watching! The flashlight is separate from the scope, but it as part of the package along with the mounting bracket. The rings they provide for the scope have rails on the top so you can attach the IR flashlight.

Thanks TexMex! I may have missed the part 1 as I don't recall seeing it. I'll go back and look. These have come a long way since I first got mine some 15 years ago. And it is huge too. It is sitting on top of my gun safe in the original box back behind me. It is an ATN Aries Series night vision scope. I just took it down, put in new batteries for the scope and IR and it works like a charm. It's just heave as a boat anchor. LOL One day I'll get a new one or a thermal scope.

This one isn't light. It made what would normally be a lightweight AR much heavier. But it works great! Thanks for watching my friend!

Hello there and thanks for watching from across the pond! I don't know any specific locations, but the oneleaf website does have a list of online vendors in some European countries
