Only a little bit. If Yoshi is mid tier instead of bottom 5, is almost solely because of Amsa and his new playstyle with Yoshi abusing the eggs; also the double jump super armor helps a lot against falco and fox, the Melee's faces.

Damn this was an intense set. Mango used to be AmSa's bracket demon, but starting at the end of last year to now AmSa has been adapting to him. I hope he keeps going.

Zero_OR 5 that’s true, but your forgetting about one mayor factor that makes Fox a far better pick. Parry. Falco has no way to deal with it and on top of that they are pretty free against falco. There’s a reason aMSa hits the most parries against Falco. Combined with superarmor things just get ugly for Falco. Falco’s only multi hit is u-air which seems pretty useless but correct me if I’m wrong. The key difference is fox’s drill which just straight up shits on everything Yoshi does. Hence why Mango couldn’t get it done with Falco but could with his fox which is worse than his Falco. Falco does edgeguard Yoshi alot better though but he has a horrible time going in on a Yoshi that can parry and use superarmor properly.

i think the Melee god term is overrated but aMSa is prolly the best Smash player who hasn't won a major. I would comfortably put him top 10 right now but he still hasn't won a tournament. Still I believe he is only getting better.

aMSa is so fucking good at Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube. he and AxE are the protagonists - the nice guys that everybody loves, possibly crippling their overall performances by remaining loyal to the lower tier characters they love but defying all odds to be do it anyway.
Something has to be said about just how intense amsa's Yoshi looks, he is actually terrifying. Somehow, he makes that Yoshi look like it's at the same pace as one of the best Fox's (some argue the best) in the world.
Everytime I see this video thumbnail, I think that Yoshi is actually a rubber rooster bowing slightly forward, with it's big cartoon eyes rolling back into it's head.

@Adi Kancharla Eh, Mang0 can normally beat everyone with Falco except for Amsa and maybe Hbox. Mang0 just threw hard vs Zain (literally had two sds in a row in game 4). Mang0 gets the best of Zain in friendlies and they almost always go game 5 in tourney. Amsa/Yoshi totally destroys mang0's playstyle, so I really wanted him to go fox for this one. His nairs still got punished hard as fox so it really is a playstyle problem vs Amsa. Don't forget that the last two tourneys won by Mang0 were both done with only Falco.
