Because it's a straight copy with no new phrasing and blah... it's a huge song and Simon Cowell would say it wasn't right for her.
She can hit notes but it's not hers, she doesnt own the song. She needs a song that when she sings it speaks to her. She can belt n yell from her mouth, great. But her HEART ISN'T OPEN AND SINGING.
McPhee has the same problem.
When she really opens het heart maybe through counseling to clear out all of the fear and conservative holding back she's not even aware of she'll be racking up views. But this is sung like a regular person with a holding back.
Christina is 1000% out there and open, exposed and vulnerable. Most of the time that comes from deep deep pain and suffering this person here has never known.
