Im assuming the deadbolt is to keep safe from a potential intruder . If that’s the case, then you should also have ventilation. You don’t want somebody to smoke you out of your safe room. The ventilation should be hidden.
That is not a good safe room. There is obviously a room or closet behind the barn door which looters would open. A dead bolt lock is not that strong, serious prepper have much more secure doors and hidden rooms.

You need a better Locking System that will lock it to the frame instead of just a single deadbolt.
I guess you neglected to see the two additional slide deadbolts at the top and the bottom of the door

...safe rooms need to be un-assuming. Like a bookcase, that you can open and pull closed from inside...etc.
