There's also the ex police officers who go into security when they've been sacked from their police job. They're the worse to work with because they carry that rude police attitude with them into the job and still act like they have police powers when they don't. Same goes for ex military. I've never met ex police or ex military in this job that were friendly or nice. Even if you work on your own, you still have to deal with these people during shift changeover who like to makes things awkward just for the sake of it, such as turning off the heater and opening up two windows so when you arrive for your night shift the place you have to sit all night is like a freezer, double locking just one of the two doors because they know that's the door you use because it's closer to the exit. Unplugging toaster and microwave after 2 months of you being on site because they see you had a microwavable burger in your bag. Refusing to leave early when you arrive early to take over from them then complaining the next day that you're late when you arrive dead on the time and still waits around until a couple of minutes after the shift before leaving. Turning up early and expecting you to walk to the front to let them in because they refuse to come drive/walk through the rear gate that's open. I could probably write a book so I'll stop here.

The first security guy was cordial however, the second Guard was on a public Road and demanding answers that a Constable has no powers to demand as you were not doing anything wrong . He then makes threats to commit Criminal damage ( bordering a criminal Act right there !) If his employers are watching this , you really need to give this Insecurity Guard some training on how to interact with members of the public moreover, to leave his jurisdiction to question and make threats to damage other people’s property demonstrates he may not be suited in the security industry. The only one committing an offence was the security guard interfering with a pilot during a flight.
