In this tutorial, I am explaining how to configure the ESP8266-01 module using Arduino UNO and send sensor data to thingspeak server.
One of the best IoT projects using Arduino and ESP8266 to start with. So, here I am explaining the circuit diagram, the code, and the error that may generate while doing this project.
Here viewers can learn how to pass AT-COMMANDS to the ESP8266 module and while reading the sensor data from the DHT-11 sensor using Arduino UNO and then sending the data to thingspeak server.
#️⃣AT-COMMANDS that I used in this tutorial
    👉 AT
    👉 AT+RST
    👉 AT+CWMODE
    👉 AT+CWLAP
    👉 AT+CWJAP
    👉 AT+CIPSTART="TCP","184.106.153.149",80
👉 AT+CIPSEND=58 (56 is the string length of my GET request and NL, CR are 2 extra characters)
    👉 GET /update?api_key=API_KEY&field1=10&field2=10

Hello ! I tried your code for the arduino , i had to make the connection of esp from itsefl and then the code works but when it gets to if(Serial2.find(">")) it can t finde the ">" and the code goes to else , can you help me ? please

Hey friend, test the code without ">" checking. If it works then stay with the code, or you can mail me your detailed issue.

Check wire, its continuety, connection as per the circuit diagram, and baudrate.

Try with the default baudrate and check the connection multiple times. As this is the basic setup. Or buy a new ESP8266 module it should be in AT mode firmware.

I tried using 115200 baud rate for both the brackets and it worked. Not sure if that's the best solution out there as it often shows some weird symbols instead of alphabets. Good luck.
