DHT11 & NodeMCU Tutorial || Humidity & Temperature Monitoring over Thingspeak

- This tutorial is all about Humidity & Temperature Monitoring using DHT11 or DHT22 & NodeMCU on ThingSpeak. It explains how to log Humidity & Temperature data on cloud. We can use Thingspeak as cloud service provider and DHT11/DHT22 to measure temperature and humidity.
This tutorial is for NodeMCU on Arduino IDE. You can also configure ESP8266 board with Arduino to monitor temperature and humidity.

People must dawnload the library DHT by doing: On Arduino menu: Programs -> Include Library -> Manage library -> write DHT and install this library.
There is different types of third programs DHT, which one did you use?

Im sure it worked for some but i was getting errors from the start. or is not the same as along with things not being declared. I copied the code and pasted exactly. After trying to fix in ny limited capacity i gave up. Ill try again tomorrow. If anyone knows certain parts to be edited please let me know.

Thanks for this really good tutorial. But i have a "small" problem : I cannot open a free account on the Thingspeak server site. How can I do ? Do you think it is always possible or not ? Perhaps it depends on country ?

I had to disconnect the data line from the dht11 to nodemcu board to upload sketch...
can you explain, why pin 3 .. I search in your code in arduino ide .. pin dht 11 is D0 .. and i'm connected to node mcu in d0, the function can't work.. but if i connected to pin d3 .. it's function properly... CAN YOU EXPLAIN ????
Read the official DHT test code. It states which pins are most likely functioning.

how can i do this to two sensors(dht11) at the same time?, i would like to measurement two different places.

first download and add the libraries to arduino. github.com/E-for-Engineer/DHT11-data-upload-to-ThingSpeak-Using-NodeMcu/find/master
you should have this 2 libs in the link.
write #include to the top of the code.
delete dht. sensor codes and replace gas sensor codes instead of them.

I had the same. If you see the detailed message, IDE misses "Adafruit_Sensor" library as well. just download as well.
My serial monitor is showing some symbols, not the values.

double-check the baud rate, which should be set to 115200 as per the code. Else change the rate in code as per your requirement.

i'm currently trying to figure it out right now
so in my case i made sure everything was hooked up right on the diagram then unplugged the sensor and plugged it back in and then re-uploaded the code and that worked for me
