When I had the itch to move into one of the Villages, I was ok, this is a typical layout, saw smaller, saw larger. The price was well over what I could get here in NY. The Land you own or dont own, keep the car or just get a golf cart, pay for all those activities, or pickleball (never heard of it before) and get to know your neighbors, can be a very clique. For the price, I wasnt ready, the heat either. One Documentary has one of the Villages you never have to leave! Food stores, and boutiques in a very charming setting. Plus the house had its own pool and lots of charm. Lots of women, fewer men and ages were in the 60's to the 80's. Its a lifestyle. So many people live in these very expensive basic homes because its all about the ameniites and socialization. I prefer not to have my neighbors on top of me and have schedules like in Camp. I saw a not so Tiny Home at 1,450 sq ft, (not so tiny), modern, a few steps to a 2nd floor, and would never feel cramped. Not inexpensive, but part of a Community where each house was different and no golf carts allowed. When I retire, I hope I still have enough money to afford these large Smart Homes coming over from China.
We went on a lifestyle visit in a cv that had same floor plan. I loved it. They didn’t call it a Newport model though. They are always changing the names. It’s a beautiful home. Love the expanded lanai
Thanks for sharing! And you are right they always change the names for some reason and they try different little things and give it another name as well. Just seems inconsistent to me but that’s what they do. Hope you enjoyed your lifestyle visit.
This Newport model has a different kitchen than the archived Newport model. That one did not have a walk in panty next to the laundry room. This one is an excellent floor plan. 🎉congratulations to your friends. Welcome!
I wish TV would get it's act together on the model series names and the associated characteristics. Traditional CYVs north of 466A seem to be around 1300SF. However south of 466A they seem to range more around 1600SF but there are some in the 1800SF range. The Veranda series are also in the 1600-2000SF range. Then there were the Bungalows (around 1600SF) temporarily that have since been merged into the CYV series and those are north of 466A. As far as I can tell they all have fenced in lots.
Thanks for this tour 😊 Very comfortable outdoor set up
Thanks for watching!

Nice vid, nice home. Especially like the enhanced landscaping.
Thanks 👍
I really like the layout of that model! I never seen the Newport before, thanks for showing it!
Thanks for watching!
Nice sized kitchen! Lovely home did I miss where washer and dryer go?
Right off the kitchen. It had a laundry room AND a walk in pantry!!
