Behold, my no BS Sonic guide for 2024 metagame and beyond in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Sonic has basically become a very meta relevant character in SSBU thanks to Sonix for the most part. But let's not forget about Wrath, KEN and Taikei! Anywho, Sonic is a very difficult character to use to his full potential.

@@DKbillI’d also agree with others, it doesn’t matter if you’re missing some of the moves in the tutorial, I know what you’re trying to do and believe you that it’s real lol. I’d rather you put more of these guides out and not have to worry about getting it perfect. The appeal of the “no bs” guide is that it doesn’t have to be polished, it’s just “here’s what this character does well, go and try it”

I think what would have been helpful and what no sonic guides really mention is situations where you using side b vs down b in neutral
The thing with that is really hard to explain and is more of an experience and preference thing, but yeah

9:02 note that you have to double jump before attacking on both spins or you will jump without attacking. I had to rewatch because I was confused lol
