@@phatcat-st4gb i’m a mewtwo main, was gonna say this also. disable is good but i honestly think mewtwo would drop at least a tier or two if he didn’t have confusion, it’s so good lmao
There aren’t consistent ways to land disable without a read. Footstool disable doesn’t work anymore, so the best setups we have are generally dthrow and other moves that we can force people to tech on platforms with
As a Ridley main, I thought he was gonna call out the torcher we inflict on people with plasma breath at ledge. It doesn't always work, but when it does it's just hours of pressing and holding b and watching them drown in it
or side b when it drags you to the ledge and kills at like 60 and you all mash jab out of it and it just works AND you can use it to recover AND it works in the air
@@maratby4364 side B is great, never had it kill at 60 lowest I've seen is 90 standard is 120, but I wouldn't call it broken just because there's a lot of simple counterplay options, that make using it dangerous
@@alexlee9385 similarly, neutral B takes time to charge and won't hit you if you are going low, and while charging ridley can take more damage in the mouth area, the difference being you can reflect it
@@miralavenzia actually down smash is waaaaaaaaaaay better than up smash at ledge because it hangs on to the ledge better than up smash its just harder to pull off which is why you don't see it as much if pulled off tho it can destroy almost half the recoveries in this game only a ness main would know what im talking about lol
As a Chrom player, I think his jab deserves an honorable mention. It does a decent amount of damage no matter what part of the sword you hit with, and combos into several kill moves. All I need to do to edge guard is stand slightly away from ledge, jab, and get ready to back air.
I'm an incineroar main and i'm genuinely offended he didn't pick either side B or down B, cause oh yeah a move that's invul for a few frames and leaves him wide open afterwards is cheating and yet the move that does 25 percent for no reason, has a bit of armor, kills extremely early, and has usability in any situation is perfectly fine, also add that in with down B being a frame 3 to 27 counter and revenge side B means easily 40 percent or more off nothing
Bowser is the most honest heavy and everyone is wrong. I hate the blatant propaganda that Bowser is bad or Bowser is broken, he has some the most endlag in the game. If you lose to Bowser it means youre bad and this is an objective fact and not at all bias.
My friend gets so pissed when I tell him how smash literally is so broken it can't be competitive. "But there's a whole community that disagrees with you so guess ur wrong" "Half the characters in that game have rng mechanics in their kits and to even play "competitively" you have to disable over half the features of the game such as items, map elements, and even just some whole ass maps. Sure totally balanced and sound game design totally not an absolute joke of a fighting game whatever you say cpt falcon, Pikachu, and snake main."
2 things. First up, yes, SDI the 4th hit. Your best chance out of it. Second, 3:46 is actually not true about Bowser side b killing earlier is actually a myth. With the right DI, it only kills 5% earlier. It's earlier, yes, but not enough to make it a difference
Kazuya: "allow me to introduce myself" (Promptly get three stocked by an inkling because of bad match up for Kazuya) (At least I have an easy time killing Kazuya as an inkling main, his attacks are slow and command grabable and inklings sprint can low profile under his beam attack)
As a Ridley main it's DEFINITELY neutral b. Free gimp on some characters with literally zero commitment. Just run to ledge and press the b button and some characters just die
I think snake's biggest cheater move is down B, for 2 reasons. 1, it is a command bomb, like links. 2, it can be used to recover infinetly. Also, fox up tilt for some reason combo's into itself 7 times, which is pretty unfair.
F Smash is crazy but its honest compared to the most obvious move, the one every Sonic main spams at the ledge and is PLUS 11 ON SHIELD and cancels into every aerial
I don't play at a high level, but as a g&w main I find it so hilarious when my opponent shields my first down smash and they don't expect the second one right away. There's always a second one lol
I think Lucario's actual cheater move since aura is a mechanic is actually down B. It has its own damage and knock back so it doesn't care how powerful the move you used was, it can teleport so projectiles aren't even safe on it and you can actually change the direction you attack from if you want.
@@michaelcross7665 Up b isn’t even the most broken move. I main Ridley and ive cheesed so many people online with side b on the edge of the ledge and drop em off the stage. If you neutral air after you let go odds are it hits mid recovery and you still have a jump and recovery.
Samus and Mewtwo's cheat moves for me are neutral b, since the work as combo starters when uncharged. I've gotten Mewtwo's down b off of neutral b since it turns people around.
Great video, love the concept. I disagree with Ganondorf, though. His cheater move is definitely his NAir. His FSmash is only good in very particular situations and is too inconsistent to be very viable because of its slowness. His NAir comes out fast, is a multi hit, covers a large area, does a lot of damage (can kill), and keeps him relatively safe. There are some instances where you can actually hit someone who is behind you with NAir! lol It's his best move in my opinion a lot of players spam it online all the time for good reason
If you want a cheating Ganondorf move, his nair does 23%, kills the best out of any nair in the game, can be comboed into, is active for super long and has some *insane* disjoint. That move can contest like half the game mid air and makes recovering somewhere where Ganondorf can reach you quite difficult, unless you have an insane recovery.
@@maratby4364 Ganondorf can go decently deep actually, the issue with his recovery is primarily horizontal recovering and how linear it id but for edgeguards it's pretty passable. Also getting past a well timed Ganondorf drop down nair is bordering on impossible for some characters.
Honestly, ness has a lot of “cheater moves” Fair can combo into itself a ton if you’re good enough Pk fire is self explanatory Pk thunder is great at juggling and pk t2 kills at around 40 if you can trick someone Down/up smash are free ledge traps Pk flash can be a great ledge guard against characters with slow predictable recoverys F-tilt kills WAY earlier than most people expect And down-b is almost a predecessor to melee fox shine, plus its a nightmare for characters like snake with lots of energy projectiles

Me knowing the answers to every character I've ever mained before he even says them because if you main them you know what their cheater move(s) is/are
As a Lucina main, I’d like to say that in addition to up b, neutral b also cheats. I almost never get punished for throwing it out, and if you use it sparingly the chance your opponent is ready for it is quite low netting you a free stock at mid-high percents.
Dude I started playing Joker to get a hang of it...I hate it. The biggest argument Joker manes have is he has no kill potential without Arsene. And as a Sonic main, they have about the same kill power, and Arsene just amplifies it.
@@zichithefox4781 I mean it’s significantly harder to kill without arsene, but it’s still doable. The easiest way to get around that is to charge up rebellion gauge whenever you can. Arsene adds bigger hit boxes, a spike, an extra hit on most moves, more range on Eiha/Eigaon and a counter/projectile counter with Makarakarn and Tetrakarn. Use of the rebellion gauge is VITAL to jokers game, and it’s the difference between a good joker player and a great joker player.
@@zinkerzanker68 Oh, I know. I've looked into it. I've more or less made the personal decision that either because Joker would be too weak on his own with a balanced Arsene, or Arsene wouldn't feel satisfying enough with a stronger Joker and weaker Arsene, that Joker probably wasn't a good idea to put in Smash.
Hate it We can't reflect it And then, there is Marx shadow thing in the ground, Crazy hand's eye snap, Galleo's grab, Ganon's laser slash, Rathalos' fire bomb, giga bowser's up smash, dracula's projectiles that hit you no matter what

Side b? I’ve 0 - 160d people before with that move
Like he said in the video, it’s not about how good it is, but how much you can rob people with it
Nair isn't dat good because, if you short hop Nair it will never hit

If you want a cheating Ganondorf move, his nair does 23%, kills the best out of any nair in the game, can be comboed into, is active for super long and has some *insane* disjoint. @@zichithefox4781 I mean it’s significantly harder to kill without arsene, but it’s still doable. The easiest way to get around that is to charge up rebellion gauge whenever you can.
