It's really cool how the Quad Toms have Frame Drum cues that can be played to help them stay on beat
When you're a drum major and you have to cringe at the thought of having to change the bands tempo when you know they won't be paying attention.
Averagehumanbeing I ain't in high school yet, but the tempo changes I can relate- We are doing Variations on Russian Sailor's dance- which has 5 tempo changes 80 to 96, 96 to 112, 112 to 80, 80 to 112, 112 to 120, 120 to 132, then 132 to 144. Did I mention that this is in 2/4 time?
It’s your job so us trumpets know what speed to go when we aren’t looking at the director

@@jr2cool4you25 That sucks. Hopefully your band can figure out how to do time signature changes. My high school concert band finished playing a piece that was 4/4/7/8 but they had it alternating 4/4 then 7/8 then 4/4 and so on. Trumpets rested for about an entire page. The song is three pages long.

We've done Pirates, but a different arrangement, for quite a few years now. We use it as pep music though, so in the stands.
We play this in middle and high school for pep band. Even during practice you'll hear people shout "Pirates!" Because this is what they want to play

The tenor sax arrangement is obviously the part three music because, in part 4, you get the beginning melody

I honestly kept the playback speed tab open and I kept changing it when appropriate because some parts were just too slow to play at that tempo and other parts were too fast to play at 1.25% speed.

+Phillip de la Sotta I'm not a drummer, but I think it has to do with "disabling" those rattly thingd the snare has under it. Again, I'm no drummer and I'm possibly just saying nonsense.

The drum is tuned where the snares don't give a long response but the still pop,So the snare sound is still there it just doesn't fade away it's a quick response

Ryan Wells I wish we could in my marching band too. We can't cause we are like 10-15 people and there like one may be 2-3 of trumpets,2 flutes,2 clarinet, 2 drums and 1 of saxophone, horn,bass and that's pretty much it. So I wish we could too but I know that Ohio State marching band can!

yeah but generally we have the supporting melody, or at the start of part 1 and the end of part 3 we have the main melody which sounds pretty nice
