"Children of Hiigara... you are *Beaten*. Stand down and prepare for Vaygr occapation. I have come to claim what is rightfully mine..."
"... return the second core and I will spare your homeworld"
"Hiigara can resist the Vaygr siege, but only for a limited time."
Missiles away.
I love these animatics. the sheer scale of, well, everything in the Homeworld universe is absolutely staggering, and I love the general aesthetic.
+ Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Amen 🙏
it would be nice if we got another homeworld game dealing with ground combat. Maybe one dealing with the Kushan fighting the taiidan as they clean them out on hiigara and the other could involve the hiigarans holding out against the vaygr siege.
Was this written before the modern Homeworld prequel was made?
uberpansy77 I think after but I really wish there was some dlc for such a thing
"At this time, a dark cloud gathers upon the skies of Hiigara..."
Am I the only one here who finds this soothing?
great job!
i love this game series and the music too.
those are my all time favorites
"Epsilon Base" from Deserts of Kharak, anyone?
Say what I will about this game's overloaded story and noticeably different gameplay (and it not being Dust Wars), the music is still top notch.
It will end up in HW2+ ;) with outstanding music by Paul
Its most likely a Leopard II if we're going for 'Superior Tank' Designs.
Children of Hiigara, you are beaten.
Yes, but I don't remember being able to spawn any tanks in Cortex Command.
Back end of the turret looks a bit too short in height to be an Abrams, to me; the video might be squished a bit though. I think it's more likely an "inspired" bit of artwork.
Maybe M1A1...
But the back end of the turret made me think of Israeli Merkava tank.
