The audio recording was done at a radio station booth, where they recorded the radio program BAND-MAID NIPPON aired during the pandemic, for their last episode of the program.
Jammer, what you heard was Kobato and Saiki in the studio for their radio show. Probably recorded on a smart phone.(you gave me a visual with the old tape deck comment though) The original "Forward" was on their first mini-album Maid in Japan which unfortunately is not on their channel. There is another acoustic version available, full-length and with the whole band. Thanks for the reaction!
