Hannah, may I offer you two more Band-Maid songs to listen to. Actually, it's one song with two entirely versions. The song is "Puzzle", the official live video from the Tokyo Zepp Theatre. The second is "Puzzle", the official acoustic video. The two saongs have the same basic melodies, the same lyrics, but the emotional difference between the two songs is astonishing. they both highlight Saiki, the lead vocalist amazing skills. For the second version, you may need to get some tissues.

Those videos have been mostly purged from YT, but can still be found on other video sites. The biggest difference between that one and the later Tokyo Garden one is Miku taking a more active part as her skills have improved. Regardless of which performance, the song is a masterpiece.

Also 67. That was something I first noticed when I finally got to see them live back in 2019. Most of the people in the audience were middle aged men (and some older women too). I think the reason is that BAND-MAID brings us back to the kind of music we listened to back in the 70's and 80's instead of the crap the industry cranks out now.

One of my favourite songs. Blooming is more on the progressive side with it's rythm changes, countermelodies... Usually pop/punk have a tendency to sound boring, but the maids... well.. they're something quite different. The song was conceived when Kanami asked if the girls could come with some ideas. Often she is tinkering on her piano or guitar, write it down, then bring the idea in front of the others. She hardly credits herself, because she values the input from the rest of the band. As a guitarplayer she is quite a different beast. Noodling around the base-notes of the songs. Often I find her riffs just as awesome as cool as her soloing. You can hear it on songs as Daydreaming or Puzzle. There's a reason why she is, the first Asian to be honoured with her own signature by PRS. Even Mr. PRS himself came to Tokyo to present it to her.
Speaking of movies, this was featured in the Netflix action film, Kate. 'Choose Me' was also used. The movie was set in Japan. 'Hate?' official live, next!

LIVE. One misses so much in the official studio cuts. The personality, focusing in on musicians long enough to see, and all the improvements they make after the official release. Yes!! Tons of people have said watch them live. I will I just want to get proper audio set up as sometimes the music in live vids can clash more if not set up properly. I’ve had Hate recommended a lot as well so I think that will be my next BAND-MAID reaction ⭐️ thank you for commenting :)))
Welcome to Band-Maid. I see you have been reduced to giddy laughter, a common side effect of exposure to their music. Exposure to their ballads have also been known to make people ugly cry, especially the acoustic versions. Things like Daydreaming or Memorable can do that.
If you liked that ending decent, go back to the beginning and you realize there's a mirrored ascending section that opens the song. They act like bookends for the song, just another nice songwriting touch by Kanami.
