SDSBBQ Well then you are quite welcome. I was visiting my folks’ place and my wife’s folks’ last weekend, about a five hour drive away. They live north of New Orleans. I wasn’t able to make a cooking / recipe video while there, so I thought discussing the peppers in Dear Ol’ Dad’s garden would be a good idea. Thanks Dash.
Fascinating, I always like the history lessons, plus hey I love peppers too! Also peppers are higher in vitamin c than oranges, they're good for ya. Have a great weekend Big Lew and good luck with school prep!
Wow i never knew that those peppers grows in the different directions. Great educational video well you are a teacher lol. Teach on brotha!!! Thanks for sharing. Cheers and keepbbqing
Love this video and find myself returning to it perennially as cayennes come back in season. Can't eat them in one bite but I love them and can't wait for them to ripen. I like to just keep one in my pocket and nibble on it with my meals 😅
I did not know, that the growing of the peppers, were different, but I knew the shapes of each and the scoville levels. I was begging you not to eat those Chiles, but I couldn't turn away or skip forward, I had to watch. Thanks for the lesson. Nicely Done. Gracias por compartir. 😎.
I just had my first cayenne pepper this week. Ive been growing a cayenne and a serrano plant for a few months now out here in Las Vegas and the peppers finally turned red. A Very flavorful pepper. And it's crazy how different red serranos taste compared to green. Alot more flavor and way better in my opinion. Theres like 45 peppers on my cayenne plant

Big Lew~ I made the mistake of biting the tip off of a reaper about twenty years ago after "bebi demasiadas cervezas frias" 😉 I won't make that mistake again !!!
ArmadilloPepper.com Thanks, I’ve eaten whole habaneros. That is probably the maximum I could tolerate. Not sure I would want to do a Ghost or Carolina Reaper. What kind of peppers do you grow? I know y’all make hot sauces. I really appreciate you watching.
ArmadilloPepper.com Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of! 😱 I tried a rather famous scorpion sauce last Monday. It was good, video should be up this coming Monday August 5th.
Interesting facts Big Lew.. Fesh picked from the garden is the way to go.

Dude... Never knew that about the growth differences. Very informative pepper video. I learned a bunch about something I never knew I needed to know.

I love Cayenne thanks for watching.
We let our Tabasco's dry out as it makes it easier to take the seeds. I also find they taste better when dried and with little smoke and wow.
You're truly a fountain of knowledge 😁🌶👍
Ma Lu Thanks Ma Lu.

I'd love to see you rank some hot sauces. when i grew up "Tabasco" was used interchangeably with " hot sauce"
Tell us about Avery Island and Tobasco sauce.

Carolina Chris Outdoors Well CAROLINA Chris, I wouldn’t ever eat a CAROLINA Reaper.
Cayennes and a Tabasco’s are fairly hot but delicious.
