You're very kind. Project was a nightmare, we came off of Quake2 feeling on top of the world, and started Blade with every intention of doing even better with a self-designed title. Then we got saddled with the single worst producer ever, our relationship with Activision turned sour after a buyout was rejected, and basically the studio was shut 9 months into development with most of the staff going our separate ways. It was finished off by a skeleton crew who did their best with what'd been built to that point, in the hope of salvaging the deal but Acti still f#!@ed us! We did reconvene in a reduced form for Jinx a couple of years later (a holdover project that started life as Hassle Castle back with Sony/Psygnosis around Q2 time) , which turned out better, but Blade remains a sore point. It was never properly finished.

Saw this game being demo'd in the back of a Funcoland right before they switched into a "GameStop". Drooled at it damn near... only to find out my older brother bought it the following week Specifically too it was showing the Whistler stage
The soundtrack is nothing like your typical video game music, and that's actually a good thing. It's got some cool d&b tracks that you can just casually listen to while you're drawing or doing other hobbies. It's pretty funny how a mediocre game ended up with such an awesome soundtrack lol
