This specific recording has the full live recording of James Labrie. John probably had to overdub his stuff because we know how shit he can be sometimes lol
@TramxDT O.o I don't have any problem, I perfectly hear him. Maybe there's something with your audio system... well, when James sings you can't hear him like when he's on a solo spot, but it's ok. The only "dark point" to me is The Test That Stumped Tham All's intro, where keys are higher.
@@edelman4664 I can't read scores so i maybe wrong but if you listen to the official track around 1:02 mark after James finish his verse("intro tape begins to roll") there is the people roaring sound. The previous comment mention the live version of the Score 20th anniversary world tour then if you listen to it you can hear the audiences roaring at the same mark.
remember this: without James Labrie, they would probably have found a better singer, as Labrie didn't started the Band, he came after carlie dominicci, dream theater wouldn't without, JP,JM and Portnoy actually P.S.: Please do a little research to get some information instead of just saying random shit about things you don't know about
+Jorge Alcala Suicidal Tendencies was a great band. This sounds like Dio meets a metal symphony. don't get me wrong, DT has a following and I respect that, but some things are best left alone. I feel this was a VERY poor cover
+Jorge Alcala Yes, it is a horrible version or cover of Suicidal Tendencies. War inside my head. That was my point. No need in anyone getting too upset, I am nobody, and there is a lot of crappy and good bands out there. I just have an opinion. That is all.
I was 7 years old the last time I heard this song, I've been searching for this song for 10 years and finally found it
I'm so glad that you've succeeded in it
Your father listen this everyday right ?
@@glaubb_5344 father and grand dad
That's the power of the music.
@@AbinLimRV amazing family mate
Budokan: The only place where Dream Theater can have a concert and everyone shows up in suits.
LOL. It happens in a lot of concerts in Japan because these japaneses go directly from their jobs to the concert.
Hey Man! How are you after twelve years?
@@wanderson6588 I'm good! Still reeling from the fact that Portnoy is back in Dream Theater
i like how the bass is so strong and powerful
My thoughts exactly. It's so good hearing myung
love the drummer
Drömmar
Mike portnoy. Used to be the drummer anyway
Yeah, he's pretty good.
Love the drummer when talking about Portnoy is like saying I love that number 23 on the Chicago Bulls
At around 6 minutes, my Wi-Fi disconnected unexpectedly. I guess it couldn't process all those arpeggio's and flams.
MYUNG!!!
Epic. Sad I'll never see DT live when they were this good.
They were pretty damn good the last few times I've seen them!!! :D
5:12 - "Hey, the bass seems kinda high, maybe we should try pulling that down a bit or maybe increasing Petrucci a bit?"
5:46 - "MORE BASS, PLEASE!"
5:37 Mike Portnoy reaches God Level drumming.
That's actually a lot easier than it looks/sounds
Arguably some of the best musicians in prog ever to have assembled. Love that they pull it off live!
Portnoy completed the band, you can tell he loves to play, has fun and really gets into the music. They don't have that full package anymore :(
They do now..again

The Best of The Best....DT never dies
One thing that perplexes me is why the guitar solo was still kinda low in the mix on that recording. But it still looked and sounded awesome
Perfect band
John Myung is awesome!
My favorite songs
In 04/26/24 these dvd make 20 years.
My two all-time faves from DT! Thanks for uploading!
portnoy's voice is awesome!
😅😅
His drumming is not bad either. 😏
This was peak DT
DT MAGIC on full display !
Man how I love DT...
...Even though I'm 12!
I heard metropolis for the first time at 13. Instantly fallen in love. Remains one of my favorite song of all time. you're not alone c:
OMG I review this video seven years later but it is great! Great Mc Portnoy with his obscure voice and LaBrie...
NAPALM.. NAPALM
NAPALM SHOWER!! SHOW THAT COWARD
WE WEREN'T THERE TO MESS ARROUND!!
FUCKIN LIKE THIS LYRICS
The best all time live performance recording I have ever heard. Houston is ready for DT to come back!!!!!!
Mech Mod Mike Check out the Score version!
And the great Myung and Jordan and Petrucci... OMG.
I won't like to imagine how many takes were needed to record James' voice in studio. Damn, Portnoy backing vocals sound better than his.
This specific recording has the full live recording of James Labrie. John probably had to overdub his stuff because we know how shit he can be sometimes lol
James sounds great in this though...
@@psypsy751 he does, even those he messed up the lyrics. But I don't blame him for that because it's a hard song.
that bass 😭😬👍🙏
Yes he does
So good
5:01
I don't have a problem with pitch correction in general, but that was very noticeable.
just saw them preform this yesterday at the gibson theater :D with mangini of course lol
Keyboard solo is fantastic
5:11 👌👌💪💪
dream it just real music!
I miss when Dream Theater was this awesome, just not the same since MP left
Backing vocals are back

like the screen change and movement at the beginning of the solo at 5:10
Im not saying that he sounds like dave mustaine but the vocal style is totally similar in this song!
Sweating Bullets but it's progressive metal
who's gonna do Portnoy's backup voice now?
Elton John 🫤
I wish dream theatre records are produced where myungs bass is audible
here thinking it was a suicidal tendencies cover...
portnoy rullez !
@TramxDT On stage left, like always. Why are you asking that?
5:06 ... that transition is fucking amazing
VIVA dream theater
I love this song This version is better than the studio.
temón!!!!!
2:55 Kick total ASS!!!
@TramxDT Me too. Probably a stereo problem.
Good
I've for alot of this concert the guitar is way too quiet.
This is about cricket, right?
Nah, it's about cockroach

Yea,i mean look at score, soon as james said that, the whole audience were roaring through the roof !
Why?

I didn't know Heisemberg played with Dream Theater
that's Dr. Gordon Freeman

what the fuck. ST ST ST Suicidal Tendencies
Skinny Petrucci is so funny to me these days.
5:02 "to save him from himself" do i hear an auto-tune??
Stick Light no that's his voice
I think what you hear is just the keyboards following the melody of the voice.
When was this live performance?

2004 I believe
This were this dying soul tour
I play MW3 to these songs
