Great timing! We leave for our New England/Canada cruise in a week so the packing suggestions were great. I have been told to grab a couple green apples for seasickness. Have never needed to but did hear they work if you don’t want to take meds.

Your hints, as always, are spot on. We went on a New England/Canada cruise about 10 years ago and loved it. I always watch the weather for any trip starting 2 weeks out, and adjust what clothing I’m bringing as we get closer to the trip and the weather forecast is a bit more precise.
This video is great. I was totally clueless on what to wear for a non-summer, northern cruise, we usually do warm climates in the spring and/or summer, so the tip on the 1 bathing suit was duly noted; however, it is a rare occasion that I live near the port, so over packing is a must. Looking forward to some exquisite lobster rolls. Next time throw in some tips on dining for the foodies in the back. lol! video is much appreciated!

Perfect timing! I am going on the Canada/NE cruise on Voyager Of The Seas out of Boston in 12 days, I cannot wait!!! I'm planning on checking the forecast for all four ports the day before and then pack accordingly. This is also my first SOLO cruise, and I got one of the Promenade View staterooms which looks so awesome! 😁
Perfect timing! We have our 14 day cruise coming up in under two weeks out of Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale. We always toss a few of those white 10 gallon trash bags into out suitcases for dirty clothes they really come in handy for packing up to come home.
We did the 10 night Canada/New England cruise from New York to Quebec on Caribbean Princess in 2016 and have booked to do it again September 2023 as we loved it so much.
Great video- very accurate. We did this cruise in mid October and it was just like yours- unseasonably warm in a few ports, but we also had some downright cold weather in others, so sweatshirts under a jacket were fine. We live in Halifax, and I recommend rain jackets. I saw that you had an umbrella, but around here we often get lots of wind when it rains, so umbrellas aren't very useful.
We are going to Canada next October. Will definitely check the weather. Packed our carry-ons for an 11 day Europe trip, and had so many comments on the fact we didn't have large suitcases. Hope to do the same for this trip. So glad to know we can dress casual. But we will pack a dress and suit coat just in case. Thank you for the shoe suggestions, too. Great help 👍.
Bravo Illana..spot on today…i have I always have my magnetic clips but last week I purchased some more because it will be 3 in our cabin for the 15 day cruise..to hook my friends up..pun intended ..good choice for your tennis shoes. I certainly bring my old beat up tennis shoes for those ‘messy’ excrsions😂. Thx🚢😊
On my CanadaTowel Greenland cruise--towel clips wish I brought one set damp and windy on balcony. Clip would have help. Hooks make sure you bring 2 for binoculars. We hung them right by balcony door ( hubby and I don’t share well)we loved the views
We're planning on this cruise come the last week of June. Most of what you've mentioned, we already have (some things we exchanged over Christmas). I'll definitely be investing in some sea sickness meds. Although about 3 decades ago, I still remember the overnight North Sea crossing. I'm not sure if stabilizers were a thing then or how they've been improved on, but I remember hubby coming back to the cabin from watching a movie in the theater, quite green around the gills. Our two sons (18 months old and 5 1/2 years old) and I were just fine.

Hi Ilana! A few years ago, doing the same cruise route as you are describing, we got the tail end of a hurricane in the Gulf of St.Lawrence. Dishes were flying out of cupboards in the MDR and it scored a high number on the Beaufort scale! Loved it!
As always you have the best ideas to bring on a cruise. Our Canada and New England cruise isn't until the end of August 2023. Since the season is changing I could probably pick up some clothes on clearance for this cruise.

Despite the fact my mother is a Newfie and my father is a Brettoner, I was raised (and still live) in ON. I have never been east of Montreal. I have always wanted to go to Maritimes. The Bay of Fundy is definitely on mt travel Bucket List. It doesn't look like any cruises hit up The Rock, which is unfortunate. I'd would love to spend some time there.

We are going on a 30 day Transpacific cruise on Carnival cruise lines next September. Do you have a video that shows what to pack for a long cruise like that. We start in Seattle and then do Alaska and Japan, etc. so sounds like lots of different weather situation.

We are going on Princess's (ship Caribbean Princess) for their Classic Canada & New England leaving from NYC on 10/10/2022 and disembarking in Quebec City, Canada on Oct. 20th. My wife and I are fully vaccinated and was wondering if we need a COVID test to go on this cruise and/or enter Canada. Did you have to test to go on your cruise to Canada?
I did, and there was the ArriveCan app as well. The best thing is to check your requirements for this cruise. There are some changes coming in Canada, but I’m not sure if this will apply to cruises
I just went on my 1st cruise ever this past July on the oasis of the sea to the bahamas. I must say I was kinda disappointed that no one seems to mention that 70 percent of this cruise you will send dressed down in bathingsuit or simply comfy shorts n slides. I took along with me many summer sandles with small 3 in heels n I found myself wearing slides all the time just like everyone else on the cruise. Also I think the drink package is totally a rip off do to the fact that all drinks are water down n u can hardly tell there was any liquor in them. Islands of bahamas were absolutely beautiful n I'll definitely be going again. But at least the 2nd time around I'll know what to expect n what to not expect.

We are going on a 30 day Transpacific cruise on Carnival cruise lines next September. Do you have a video that shows what to pack for a long cruise like that. We start in Seattle and then do Alaska and Japan, etc. so sounds like lots of different weather situation.

I did book with the cruise line. However I believe the companies used in most cases were from Ambassatours
We have the New England/Canada/Quebec cruises on our bucket list (near the top). The black V-neck dress looks much nicer wearing than on the hook. Who made it (if you don't mind)? I have been wearing my Ralph Lauren LBD for 12 cruises now and I need something new!

We are going on Princess's (ship Caribbean Princess) for their Classic Canada & New England leaving from NYC on 10/10/2022 and disembarking in Quebec City, Canada on Oct. 20th. My wife and I are fully vaccinated and was wondering if we need a COVID test to go on this cruise and/or enter Canada. Did you have to test to go on your cruise to Canada?
I did, and there was the ArriveCan app as well. The best thing is to check your requirements for this cruise. There are some changes coming in Canada, but I’m not sure if this will apply to cruises

I just went on my 1st cruise ever this past July on the oasis of the sea to the bahamas. I must say I was kinda disappointed that no one seems to mention that 70 percent of this cruise you will send dressed down in bathingsuit or simply comfy shorts n slides. I took along with me many summer sandles with small 3 in heels n I found myself wearing slides all the time just like everyone else on the cruise. Also I think the drink package is totally a rip off do to the fact that all drinks are water down n u can hardly tell there was any liquor in them. Islands of bahamas were absolutely beautiful n I'll definitely be going again. But at least the 2nd time around I'll know what to expect n what to not expect.

How heavy are your suitcases. I just packed for 7 days and mine weighed 84 lbs..had to take things out
