Alpana Narayane shares her story about her fight with cancer!

Cancer can't cripple you as long as you are mentally strong. Alpana Narayane is such a fighter with immense courage and perseverance. She came face to face with cancer first in 2009 when her mother-in-law was diagnosed and then survived till 2012. She herself was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January 2021 and successfully fought it.
A product architect at BatchMaster Software, Indore, Alpana Narayane was diagnosed with advanced stage ovarian cancer. She had a general feeling of acidity and bloating. Her physician thought it is due to menopause and suggested visiting a gynecologist in September 2020. But due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed. The 41-year-old underwent a full hysterectomy upon her diagnosis and had 6 chemotherapy cycles. She also got a COVID infection during her that time.
Despite all odds, advanced stage, and negativity surrounding cancer, Alpana stood her ground going through the treatment and giving life a chance. Finally, she came out of it.
