I think wherever Potter goes next, he will do well. Potter took over from Chris Hughton, who got sacked because Brighton were struggling to stay in the premier league. The Brighton stability never happened until Potter went there. He was also starting too get some results at Chelsea before he was fired, just like Pochettino ⚒ worth a gamble on a small contract to show us if he has it.

Antonio’s situation is desperately sad for him, I was reading after his last accident at Christmas 2019, he struggled with depression and considered giving up football, ironically this accident could force his hand as I don’t believe his mental strength could overcome his physical ability after this type of injury, I truly hope I’m wrong.
I cannot believe Potter would agree a short term deal with the media knowledge Carrick could be their ultimate long term plan.
WH have history doing a similar thing with Moyes then Pellegrini then back to Moyes.
Potter needs a platform to elevate his career after Chelsea, WH’s setup would suit him to do this, if he was successful and turned WH’s fortunes around by the end of the season, would Brady get her wish, or would Noble get his?
Personally if Potter, or whoever, came in the short term and was successful, I don’t believe Sullivan would make the same Pellegrini/Moyes scenario mistake again, regardless if the ‘master plan’ was to bring in another coach, Carrick or maybe Allegri as reported by overseas sources.
Personally I don’t know who would be the right person to take us forward after Lopetegui, I just know something needs to be done, unfortunately with his father’s situation and Christmas around the corner, Sullivan would look brutal in some people’s eyes outside of WH, but hard decisions have to be made, and like Moyes, it’s been allowed to drag on when everyone knew a change was imminent and necessary.

    • @WESTHAMVOICE
      @WESTHAMVOICE  หลายเดือนก่อน

We all wish Antonio all the best mate
As for the head coach situation… I’m not a potter fan and it would sound like a desperate measure if he were brought to the club

    • @billclarke7893

G'day Stel. Yes, we wish him a good recovery for the long term. Whether that's playing football is neither here nor there. His general well being is more important.
"Lower leg injury." The bones of the lower leg are the tibia and fibula. The upper leg bone is the femur. A fractured femur can be life threatening.

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

If Lop has fallen out with Kudus and Todibo , it was well worth it imho. Kudus is a very talented player but was being greedy and running into blind alleys when a simple ball to a player in space would suffice. Notice that on his return , he passed the ball better. Todibo has a history of bad attitude (if you google search) and it's unacceptable that he has such a low level of fitness , plus he's guilty of making some horrendous lazy errors. Two of which went unpunished by the opposition just a few yards from our goal line, with another outside the box where Forest got a goal from. There are unsubstantiated rumours that he turns up late for training and meetings, so Lop had to give him the hairdryer treatment. Plus I wish Antonio best of luck in his recovery.

    • @WESTHAMVOICE

I’ve heard the same about Todibo but it’s rumour that’s come from sources which makes me wonder if they’re genuine

Boro are having a purple patch, but they haven't uniformly overachieved under him. Frank or Silva for me. Ogbonna got injured playing for West Ham, that is why the club did right by him. Antonio has done this to himself by driving dangerously in a machine too powerful for his ability to drive it (don't forget he has previous with another sports car in a built up area) In fact we are all lucky he didn't kill or injure anyone else. Because of this I have no sympathy for him, especially if reports of him not wearing a seatbelt are true. He doesn't need my sympathy, he has insurance and has been been over paid for his ability for a long time. I don't wish him ill but I'm not bothered if he never plays for us again. This is all because of his own stupidity.

@@Patrick-z7d No, I think this will be the end of his prem career because of his age. Whilst wishing him a full recovery so he can enjoy his life he's been a silly lad and is gonna pay the price.

I don’t know if he wasn’t wearing a seat belt mate to be honest
I do have sympathy for him as it’s suggested he lost control of the car not there’s no report to suggest he was speeding
In this instant he’s lucky he didn’t lose his own life
I guess we will hear more in due course

@@WESTHAMVOICE I did say"if the reports are true" regarding the seatbelt, but regardless Stel, he wasn't driving too slow was he? He mounted the curb on a residential street and knocked over a wall the last time he was 'unlucky'. Sorry mate but all this virtue signaling on Social Media for people that are architects of their own downfall has become tiresome since the Facebook brigade and the likes made it a national pastime.

Listen to Potters ‘high performance’ podcast. No way will he come in under a short term contract. Very impressive on that podcast and I think he would be a very good manager at West Ham

Came 15th and 16th at Brighton and got sacked at Chelsea early in his contract, won nothing in his career as a player or a manager, why is everyone so keen on this guy ????

@ they finished 9th 2021-22 and were 3rd when he left for Chelsea. I’m not saying he should be our no 1 choice but given the criteria and reality of how Sullivan appoints managers he would be a vast improvement on Lopetegui. Pulled Moyes pants down tactically every time we played Brighton too…

we have Head of Technical Recruitment & Analysis Maximillain Haan that does Data analitcs which is simular to the Brighton model. so i dont understand why the hate towards Potter is getting from Sulli.
