Season ticket pricing is related to a UK wide process of squeezing as much money out of the general public as possible. The policy is simple, companies or organisations take as much money as they can while they can. If people want to go to the football they have to pay the price, if people what to spend hundreds of pounds at "Winter wonderland" then up go the prices. In Germany season tickets are still available in certain sections of major grounds (including Munich) for a few hundred euros. Because they know that the season ticket hike does not generate much revenue compared to the costs of the playing staff

Man United don’t need to worry about PSR/FFP they have a great young squad full of young hungry players on small wages who they could sell for billions & plenty of money coming in from guaranteed champions league income & winning many trophies this season like the premier league, league cup, FA cup & champions league. It’s a good job they aren’t a aging bottom half premier league team, paying bang average players £300,000 400,000 a week & paying out massive transfer fees for below average players 🤣
Amorim doesn't play wingers and you can see he's steadfast to playing his 3-4-3 so you can easily see Man United in their short term ism selling Ganarcho, Anthony and Rashford. give it 3 years and a new manager with a difference system will be clearing out the squad and spending another 600mil.

One full season under his belt, and he’s only 19. He’s already a first team player at United, and would be snapped up quickly if he was available for sale. The thing is, United fans have no reason to believe that the money recieved from potential sales of homegrown players will be money well spent and so the fact that we have big domestic talents is basically all we have left now. If you knew that with those sales you would win a CL and Prem in the next 3 or 4 years, would anyone actually oppose?
but at the ame time... THose homegrown players would have ambition for their careers.. So not being able to add to the squad because we are broke.. we might end up losing them anyway..
Has anyone actually got a source for this information? Personally, I have not seen where it has directly come from and think it's made up for disruption and negotiation. There is no way the club sells Kobbie or Garnacho right now.
Utd know that they have spoiled Garnacho and Mainoo. Paying them more will just make them impossible to sell as they sit around not caring at all on big money.
Judging by some of the comments their thought process of a good player must be child like. 'Is he fast', 'can he do step overs'. Mainoo has qualties we don't have in midfield currently. We are short in supply in mid. He would need instantly replacing by someone of equal or better talent for equal or more money, and a larger contract. This is being blown out of proportion and probably just standard contract negotiations high balling and low balling each other.
If you sell a youth player for 60 million, then you can buy four 60 million players and put them on 4 year contract. This is how amertision works. They can basically sell 1 player and guy for without breaking psr, it makes sense to do this, as long as you don’t waist the money obviously.
PSR should never encourage players who have come through the academy to be sold. It is great to see in football someone come through the academy and playing for the first team.
why in the hell would we sell Mainoo, an up and coming talent? Mount is never fit, Casemiro is on his way out, can't depend on Eriksen..the list goes on and on. Ratcliff and INEOS are slowly showing us that they are rubbish
With 80 mio € for Kobi, United can get up to 3 players for 40 mio € each, due to PSR counting the sale of a youth players as double in profit. I'd like to see him play for United, but such an offer would be worthy of consideration. I wouldn't mind United selling Garnacho for about 40 mio € as I don't see him play too much under Amorim and I don't like his CR7 like attitude at 20 years of age.
@@danchinho5210 What's the sense of doing maths just to do it? What's the sense of selling 1 player to buy 3 players just because 3 is greater than 1? There is no pressing need to sell him, money was never spent to get him to then go on to criticize whoever replaces him if it doesn't work out.
But that’s the problem isn’t it. No one wants to buy injury prone players who are on high wages as well and United needs money. They are being forced into drastic measures
Not saying I agree Mainoo should be sold.. but the reason is quite simple really.. Especially because of casemiro and Mount.. Mainoo getting sold counts as pure profit from the academy.. Same for Eriksen since he came for free Mount and Casemiro came on big money which we are never going to get back, therefore those would count as losses financially..
In September, United reported an annual loss of £113.2m, their fifth deficit in as many years. Along with theyv been a mid table team for years , out of the champions league over a couple of years. One of the highest wage bills , just because they sell a lot of shirts too the Chinese I don’t know how there not financially ruined.
The psr rules were implemented to stranglehold the growth of newcastle. It's hilarious to me these rules are now holding those back who wanted them in place.
All the owners want PSR stops them having to delve into their own pockets. Football club owners want football clubs to make money so they can pocket it themselves and leech it out of the game.
Man Utd logic here would be to sell Mainoo and use the money to buy a foreign player to replace him on higher wages. Why not just keep him and offer him a new contract with better terms.
The problem is this so man utd get rashford out ok but the problem is why would a good player go to man utd at this current time. Hence the average players that have been bought by ten hag
I don't think anyone has said it, but the reality is PSR dictates we must sell one of Rashford, Garnacho or Mainoo, in the same way it dictated we sell McTom, we need profit and as Mainoo and Garnacho are on low wages and HG, they are likely as both would be trippling their wage to do so, therefore, they may want to go..
No player is untouchable every player has their price the same at every other club. We're not actively looking to sell but if some ridiculous offer came in for either player you'd be foolish not to consider it. At the end of the day it's business that's how football is the same in any other profession. Football is full of egos & greed nowadays there's barely any loyalty about players come & go all the time. If Arsenal received an offer of £150m for Saka u don't think they'd consider it same with Palmer at Chelsea they'd consider it aswell. Folk are making a big drama when in reality it's always been like this
If rashford wants to go and if the only way that can be in January is on loan The club should say you sort the wages yourself with the club we arent paying you a penny or you stay here in the reserves and show the required level to get back into the first team
We need those wages gone, or some of them as we need to loan or buy a proper striker, although complicated, I could see a loan swap between Oshiman and Rashford with both the owning clubs still paying their wages, if both do well they have increased each players value, if not, nothing lost
Every single player in that united squad is sellable if the right money comes in there is better out there. We were 8th last year and currently 13th ,every man u fan should loose this sentimental bullshit towards homegrown players, were has it got us over last 12 years
Because Mainoo and Garnacho are 19 and 20, are both homegrown academy players that are overhyped, and United would be making a massive pure profit on that hype. Which would simultaneously assist them with complying with financial fair play regulations and sign more inexpensive gems like Mazraoui with the profits from the sales. It’s like the English media haven’t learned at all from both City and Chelsea making massive profits selling homegrown players for pure profit. Mainoo and Garnacho are both decent players but they are massively overhyped. Mainoo, in particular, is far too slow and is constantly getting lost in transition.
I agree with you on Garnacho, but Mainoo.... Really? The wee man is going to be a superstar. If you can't see that, then I don't know what type of football you watch.
Clown comment. Yeah manioo is awful was fa cup player of tournament and scored in the final. Also played for england in a final ahead of plenty of other cms. Was in top 10 fo golden boy. All in his first season of first team football.
Garnacho maybe because hes not guaranteed to fit the system. But why sell Mainoo, the only other good midfielder when we already need at least 2 more midfield players? stupid idea
He scored 30 goals for one season, only one season, and they gave him a ridiculous contract that he nowhere near deserves .. The British media hyped him up to the max like he was a Ronaldo, Messi, Maradona all rolled into one 🤣🤣🤣🤣
One thing about Rashford haters is extreme delusion. Rashford didn’t just score 30 goals one season as a fluke. Hes been United best attacker since he came into the team.
@ haters? I don’t hate Rashford! I wanted him to do well because he plays for Manchester United. However, my eyes don’t lie to me! Rashford has been poor for sometime in his performances on the pitch, his body language and his whole, it’s all about me attitude. I support United, not Rashford. Get rid, he’s been overhyped and overrated. And he’s always been an up & down player , no consistency, world class strikers are consistent..that’s not delusional, that’s cold facts.
Rashford will only leave on a loan and with that, United subsidising a big chunk of his future wages while on loan. It's not going to be profitable for the club.
Mainoo is from Manchester so he is a bit different from Garnacho. I would be happy to see Garnacho leave but I would like to see Mainoo stay. If Utd have to sell or swap Garnacho for a left wingback then I hope they do it.
@@NandoFIT-df8ly united fans are so emotional.. that they keep players because they from Manchester.. LMAO The reason why Mainoo is more valuable to us than Garnacho is because we play a formation with no wingers.. not because one is from Manchester and one is from Argentina lmao..

They’ve spent a lot on some shitty players. Anthony, Mount, Zirkzee, De Ligt, Martinez, Erickson and others are all devalued assets. The sales they can make a profit on are few and far between. Mainoo, Amad and any youth talent they have is their only hope of profit.
Never willing to accept, Rashford is not good enough, his been riding the wave at Man Utd for way too long, Mainoo, jury is still out on him. His career is in the balance at Man Utd.
Rashfords wage is a joke.. he is a 100k player at best and should consider himself lucky if anyone offers anywhere near it and there is not a finance rule which forces him to pay back the wages he has stolen year on year. The fact we will admit his value by allowing him a loan in which a club pays a fair amount and we cover the chunk is even more laughable.
Are people really this stupid, every media outlet uses man utd because they are the only box office team in the premier league, stevie wonder coyld see ineos are giving the poor mouth so not to have their pants pulled down like what happened ed woodward so often
People are acting like Mainoo is the second coming of Clarence Seedorf, what has he done so far that makes anyone think he will be a world class midfielder, if you get offered 50 mil plus to help rebuild the squad sell him, there are plenty of academy players coming through to take his place, I would say Jim Thwaites has a better chance of being world class than Mainoo for a start.
PSR is exactly the problem, it's not that we don't have money, it's that we are hamstrung by PSR because we can't sell players at a loss, we can only lose 30m a year
Which equates to about 20m a year in interest, not a lot, that's not our issue as the club is worth many billions, the issue is we can't sell any more players at a loss or inject any more money
I'd be surprised if they sell Mainoo, who from a mentality and talent standpoint has been one of the only bright sparks they've had. Along with Hojlund, Amad and Maguire, Mainoo has been one of the only players who seems to have been pushing for improvement. Garnacho - sell. One trick pony who runs fast, cuts in and shoots. Poor end product, poor attitude, not a team player. Rashford - sell. Once bright prospect who has wasted his opportunity. Fernandes - sell. Great first 18 months at the club. Has picked and chosen when to seem interested ever since. Dalot - sell. Simply not very good. Runs up and down the wing a lot, but is more miss than hit. Martinez - move to midfield. Undersized, under strength in central defense. Would be ok with blistering pace, but while not slow - not blistering. Good on the ball, good driving forward and tenacious. Play him in midfield. Seling the 4 above should give 150+ million for Amorim to spend on players who fit the vision better, and the Garnacho and Rashford money is pure profit from a balance sheet standpoint - Dalot may also be at this point since he was acquired a number of years ago and his signing fee would have depreciated out by now.

Selling Mainoo is not that deep. It's not like he is the best midfielder in the world. He is good but slow AF. Selling him would be perfect business
So because he's not the best in the World he isn't an asset to Utd? He would need immediatley replacing. And to get someone of equal or better quality Itd would have to spend a lot still, and then give more wages than what an improved Mainoo contract would look like. He's far from a finisjed article as it is. Speed isn't everything in football, go ask some of the greatest midfielders ever
Kroos, pirlo, just to name two midfield greats that weren’t particularly quick. Mainoo is a class act and with the ball actually moves quicker than most. It’s the usual ‘build someone up to knock him down’ mentality that we do in this country plus the anti united morons that can’t help but swarm all over any kind of negativity around united. Mainoo has also played most of his best games against top teams and top players. I’ve zero doubts about Mainoo. And neither should anyone else.
What's with you? He is just a kid.. he has time to shine. He is the future.
i never said he is bad ya'll did not get me, i am just annoyed by his behaviour of demanding a 200k salary at 19 when he is actually still developing, isn't it the problem we are trying to solve of overpaying players ? 2 years down the line he will start downing tools like his fellow team mate in rashford. and the cycle continues. So if he is going with route of demanding money from club rather sell and get serious devoted players that's all i am saying.
@@simbachoga5930 Henderson was slow as f and turned like an oil tanker.....pirlo .......scholes etc etc

For me get grancho as he has always seen himself at a club like Real Madrid. However mainoo is a totally different kettle of fish . Between Mainoo and Amid that is where i would build my team around.
Not short of cash 700 million in debt😂😂
Yet spent more than any club 🤡
Debt doesn’t mean short of cash.

And let's say you have a £1m mortgage on your home
And that mortgage costs you £60k a year

THis is from years of overspending that was happening long before ETH..
Hojlund and Onana or mediocre at best.
Look, after anfield, everyone saw this Utd team has got serious game, and some class players, there’s massive potential.
BUT this Utd squad are good enough to beat anyone.
It’s mentality that’s the problem
United aren't selling them, they have come out and said they are not for sale.

This is what bringing in Antony, Mount, and Casemiro does to you. KNOBS
whoever signed off on a 30 year old Casemiro for north of 50 mil should have been sacked.
Man, utd fans have hyped mainoo. He hasn't proved anything! Amorim wants to make immidiate changes to the club. He wants world class players to achieve results. Mainoo is certainly no class at the moment!
this situation has nothing to do with overhype lmao..
Look at our squad.. we lack CMs..

Mainoo is good on the ball but his boots are made of cement hes way to slow to be a top midfield player cant cover ground and hes lazy too hes not going to get quicker zero mobility ships turn quicker

@@Jericho642doesn’t change the fact he’s MASSIVELY overrated by United fans. They do it with every player because they’re so used to seeing garbage, an average player stands out 🤣
@@Karim-b8m the kid has only one full season under his belt; i dont think he’s “great” at anything yet. But for his age and relative inexperience, he’s shown excellent composure on the ball, maturity beyond his years, really good footwork, impressive positional sense, and good range of passing. One full season under his belt, and he’s only 19. He’s already a first team player at United, and would be snapped up quickly if he was available for sale. He’s already a regular in the England squad.
To criticize a 19year old player, with one season of first team experience, for not being “great” is one of the most childish things i’ve read on here for a while. I’m gonna guess you’re still a teenager? Early 20’s at most? Grow up my friend. You sound like a child.
Oh look - Simon Jordan having daft opinions on Manchester United.
The guy is a weapon!
Mainoo is sick of locals asking him for a tenner for some spice
Has anyone actually got a source for this information? Personally, I have not seen where it has directly come from and think it's made up for disruption and negotiation. There is no way the club sells Kobbie or Garnacho right now.
Almost needs an independent regulator, hey Simon 😂
No
@ yes
That's not smart. It will only encourage them to be lazy.
@@Chicharito413 Lazy to not make profits in other ways?

Anyone but Mainoo, the problem with United is when the players they want to sell aren’t worth the price United paid.
Uniteds problem with psr is the debt. 150m a year in debt repayments is affecting our ability to spend
They are not that much. It has been about 20 million a year but recently went up to 25 million.
@@Samivermusicspot on, the interest isn't the killer, it's stupid wages and player depreciation
Don’t be fooled Kobi will be sold if they can. Ruben wants his own players.
These rules need to change or it will only be clubs with academies that can afford to buy via selling
why in the hell would we sell Mainoo, an up and coming talent?
His agents wants big money contract
Same for Eriksen since he came for free
Mount and Casemiro came on big money which we are never going to get back, therefore those would count as losses financially..
since Ronaldo, united have not made a big money sale of any player. selling either mainoo or garnacho should be an option
But they manage to keep paying players like Luke Shaw 😅. Useless clowns
Theres a difference between "accounting losses", and real world cash losses. MUFC has made a cash loss of just £15m over the kast 3 years combined.
@@egbukwuprince which club bid for Luke Shaw recently?
And if they got rid by paying him off.. it would still be a loss..
Manchester united selling mainoo will be a big mistake. Same mistake we made with pogba
As a United fan sell them both they not guna be best in the world these players ❤
The problem is this so man utd get rashford out ok but the problem is why would a good player go to man utd at this current time. Hence the average players that have been bought by ten hag
I see comments like "It is the agents fault". I don't get it. Isn't he the boss. Does he not have an agency of his own?.
Its pretty funny this.Who from Utd said they are open to sell Mainoo or Garnacho?
I don't think anyone has said it, but the reality is PSR dictates we must sell one of Rashford, Garnacho or Mainoo, in the same way it dictated we sell McTom, we need profit and as Mainoo and Garnacho are on low wages and HG, they are likely as both would be trippling their wage to do so, therefore, they may want to go..
United is not a club like chelsea, United have history and class
No player is untouchable every player has their price the same at every other club. We're not actively looking to sell but if some ridiculous offer came in for either player you'd be foolish not to consider it. At the end of the day it's business that's how football is the same in any other profession. Football is full of egos & greed nowadays there's barely any loyalty about players come & go all the time. If Arsenal received an offer of £150m for Saka u don't think they'd consider it same with Palmer at Chelsea they'd consider it aswell. Folk are making a big drama when in reality it's always been like this
Sell garnacho keep mainoo. We need mainoo we dont need any flare players af the moment maybe when we have a proper squad
Sell Mainoo?? You guys on the sauce...no way United would sell our midfield future.
Can't compare Chelease and ManUtd.... ManUtd aren't trying to build a title winning club, they're focused on winning on the budget side.
Rashford having time away might spark him back up
Worked when he went to Dublin
If utd sell anyone who is any way but desirable surely it would be maguire or martinez. Not the youth
If rashford wants to go and if the only way that can be in January is on loan
The club should say you sort the wages yourself with the club we arent paying you a penny or you stay here in the reserves and show the required level to get back into the first team
We need those wages gone, or some of them as we need to loan or buy a proper striker, although complicated, I could see a loan swap between Oshiman and Rashford with both the owning clubs still paying their wages, if both do well they have increased each players value, if not, nothing lost
when you talk about footballers wages it just makes me sick with disbelief

Garnacho maybe because hes not guaranteed to fit the system. But why sell Mainoo, the only other good midfielder when we already need at least 2 more midfield players? stupid idea
@davidg5305 Mainoo is weak imo has 1 good game every 10
Mazraoui is your example of a gem?? Strange
INEOS are destroying Man Utd far more than the Glazers ever did.
Selling Mainoo makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
No they’re not
Mainoo is from Manchester so he is a bit different from Garnacho. I would be happy to see Garnacho leave but I would like to see Mainoo stay. If Utd have to sell or swap Garnacho for a left wingback then I hope they do it.

@@NandoFIT-df8ly united fans are so emotional.. that they keep players because they from Manchester.. LMAO

Will United regret letting Elanga and McTominay leave? I think they will.

The game has moved on from the average salary being at 100k for top clubs…

People are acting like Mainoo is the second coming of Clarence Seedorf, what has he done so far that makes anyone think he will be a world class midfielder, if you get offered 50 mil plus to help rebuild the squad sell him, there are plenty of academy players coming through to take his place, I would say Jim Thwaites has a better chance of being world class than Mainoo for a start.

Literally in 700/800 million pound debt you plant pot.
Mainoo aint him there are gems out there better than him and Garnacho so they wouldn't be missed.
