I think in English. It's easyer than translate each sentence. Sometimes, when I note any lack of vocabulary I start to search into my head another way to explain the idea that I can't define. It works for me.

In Japan, students study English for six years, from middle school to high school, but very few people end up being able to speak it. That’s because the focus is on test-oriented English rather than practical, natural language skills. It feels like such a waste of time.

The same situation in Korea. There are so many English teaching institutions, private and public sector in Korea. Korea is well known as heavily investing country in English learning in the world. H/ever, unfortunately, I have never heard Korea has jumped up to higher level for English proficiency. This proves all investments we made have ended up failure.

Most of your words are true indeed. I am Malay from Malaysia . Married a man from America. He is a New Yorker. While I am talking to him I am thinking in my native language then translate it in English. He told me he always gets confused . My English is just like pieces of puzzles so he must try to complete it first before answering it to me. I am good at listening but so bad in spoken . Anyway thank you for your advice I will try hard to do that so I will get fluent English in a short of time. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

    Hi Michael,
I enjoyed listening to this video. It's very helpful. I switched my phone to English, my tablet too. I speak with my horse in English, because he understands all languages. At home I speak English with my partner, somtimes an hour. I don't speak fluently, but I notice an improvement in my speaking. I'm no longer too shy to speak, I've gained more confidence and that makes me happy. There is still a long way to go to become fluent in English and only think in English while I speak, but I won't give up.
Thank you, Michael, for the wonderful opportunity to learn English at "English At The Ready"!

The better you practice, The more you'll enhance your comprehension and speaking in English.. The most dangerous risk in the word is not taking risk..You must be taking risks..Don't be afraid.put it in your mind that English is just just a language, not the Rocket science.. Always believe in you that You'll be able to speak it...
When You speak your own language, You don't need to translate..It's like same with English.. Not from tomorrow,, From now,You stop translating English from your brain...At the end, You are going to crack it.....
    Best of luck,man ! ❤

Thank you so much for the video. This is like my situation currently. I'm a colleague student, taking English major. For more than three years as an English student, I couldn't say I made any improvements, even my reading skill. I like reading books (novels, comics, biography, etc., or watching movies or videos, and for the last few months, I've been trying to read or watch them in English. And without I realized, my English is improved a lot. Well, there's still a lot of things I have to learn, but compared to few years ago, I can say that my English is so much better now.

However, with practice and the help I received from you and the club, I started to think in English and became more fluid. I won’t stop, I’ll keep practicing to become more confident! Thank you for your constant guidance 🙌🏼
