    You can own overseas property under some circumstances but just that you need to declare to HDB and HDB will review the appeal to hold on it to it under special circumstances such as they’re ancestral properties in which the buyer has only lifetime living rights but cannot sell or just a small shareholder etc.

      Yes. you are correct. need to appeal to keep. but for those normal apartment. usually its a no no.

    For your case study on the family of 4 that bought a new launch, are you referring to The Myst? All the 2 bedrooms for The Myst have 2 bathrooms but in the video you showed a 2B1B floorplan.

      ​@alanweeproperty real life story! Doesn't mean u drive expensive car u are doing well in your career. I met an property agent in my condo during my key collection. He was driving a 5 series BMW. I was shock he was in the news. He bankrupted due to gambling habits in the casino.

      Wrong. I left but kept my freehold Spore investment property. Why? Spore is a choice country to invest, and freehold will retain value in land scarce Spore. Sell, then do what with the cash? Stock market too volatile. Crypto casino not for me.
