A Love Note in the sparkly green will be fabulous! Life’s too short to knit something you are not enjoying knitting so you are right to frog the Stephen West. I am knitting Christmas gifts ATM. Several pairs of socks and some cowls. I want to get done because I have Helen at Giddy yarns daily advent and Castle View Yarns weekly advent coming. To do in December or at least make a start.🦉❤

I'm knitting some penny mitts by Petite Knit for my friend and I as we are going to Amsterdam for a couple of days. not managing to use stash though which is a shame as my advents have started arriving 🙈and I was fed up so bought some yarn too!!!!! I made a Simon shawl a while ago and its a lovely pattern. Enjoy your cruise xx
My favourite animal is missing: a crow. The orange sweater is so beautiful and fits you very well. I'm knitting mostly the Dustland sweater bySW, but beside that another sweater, two pair of socks, a mini scarf... Nothing as a gift, so no hurry to finish it.😊 Enjoy your cruise after the hard time.
I love that boucle jumper you're working on. I've also not had the head space for anything very complicated atm. Just finished a couple of gifts for my 🦊 mad SiL, I also love foxes but I think my favourite animals are red pandas but they don't have an emoji which is tragic.

I stupidly went back and parked outside as I was visiting neighbours and there was my Mum’s neat as a pin house looking very disheveled very sad especially as she is still with us but on a dementia ward in a lovely nursing home. 😢 Try not to get too overwhelmed by your advents… one of the reasons I don’t invest in one, is the stress of knowing what to do with this expensive surprise package. Hope you have a lovely time away and get plenty of crafting done. Best wishes Frances
I have the James Makes Yarn advent as well. I really can't wait to open it in December. I love his yarn and all the colours he has. I'm going to Yorkshire yarn festival on Sunday, don't need any yarn but I'm sure I shall still buy some 😅.😼 xxx
🐈⬛ 🐕 I’m currently working on a one skein wonder cowl, was also inspired by Ali from @littledropsofwonderful 😄 I’ve actually covered this in my recent crochet podcast ☺️ I’d love to learn to knit and work with ply/fingering weight yarn, as I only use DK upwards for yarn thickness with crochet, I think it’d take me forever to crochet something up in anything lighter than a DK 😆🙈
@ is it beginner friendly? I only know the very basics of knitting and would probably have to watch some TH-cam tutorials to get me started! 😆 I’ve only ever used chunky long knitting needles in the past, and I see a lot of knitters using very thin needles (usually circular) x

Yes that is tragic- all pandas are my faves!! I love the Boucle but the sleeves are taking forever- I should have done some decreases!

You should try a moonlit shawl - that dk or 4ply and takes no time at all!!

No it’s a crochet shawl but in 4ply or dk so if you wanted to try a 4 ply crochet project I would recommend it
