      Contact Houston Performance Solutions in Houston or Facebook or IG. They ordered it and nailed it. Everyone is asking what the offset is. No rub at all and fills the wheel well perfect. 305 MT tires on 17 inch wheel.

      Not sure to be honest. I left it all up to Auto Empire Houston to order and they nailed it. I think this is literally as far as you can go on both width/offset and height/profile. They nailed it. I get people asking constantly what offset they have. And I have lowering springs and never rubbed once, but has to be close

    super clean set-up! Love the look. Definitely a nice touch to have the matching skinnies up front as opposed to just running the rears with stock fronts. Car looks mean AF! Can't wait to see some drag strip runs! As you mentioned though having massive grip on the launch will put more stress on the drivetrain. I certainly wouldn't dump the clutch at high rpm. The best bet is probably hold 2k the quickly and smoothly let out clutch and feed in more throttle as necessary . Keep up the good work brother!

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1

      Yeah first race this weekend. I’ll have some footage up afterwards. Yeah my plan is to start at 1400 rpm and go up from there. Maybe start tires in rear at 23 at first and decrease as needed. Thanks for the compliments she’s definetly start to come along 👍. Love the wheels got to test some around the neighborhood and I think it should shave some time. Can’t wait to see.

      @@OnlinecarshowNet1 Sounds like a good plan.. Better to be safe than sorry. Car should hook flawlessly with these tires and power level. I had a similar set up on the rear of my 700hp procharged corvette (18 in racestar 305 et streets 22psi) Car hooked amazingly well but then ran into tunning issues right after the launch... Since then have sold the car and now have a 2018 ss 1le. looking forward to your results. I did 2 passed with my stock 1le on stock wheels and tires last summer. It was hot.. like 108 degrees out and the DA was over 6k. 1st pass 13.5 at 106. second pass 13.7 at 105. With cooler temps (not sure what the DA will be for you) and this drag set-up should be able to get in the mid to low 12's... Be sure to check out that video i made (midnight mayhem june 22nd 2018) on my channel. Keep up the good work.

    What did you torque these at and what psi?
    Thanks in advance !!

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Psi depends on situation and car weight. I monitor tire wear and try to hone it in. With that said I would drag race it 18-21 psi and if on street go above 22. I run drag radials all the time in the zr1 and run at 22-24 on street just fine. For torquing I do cheat and do the impact duga duga method 😂. But I use to bust tires for years. I’m not sure what factory torque specs are and it’s always good practice to follow them!!!

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s probably just older tires. Once the Goodyear’s on the 1LE get to about halfway worn they seem to turn into crap. Try a different tire and I bet it goes away. I was only able to launch about 1.3-1.5k rpm on Goodyear’s. I can launch at 2.5k to 3k on the Nittos and my drag radials you can launch at 5k. It’s not the 1LE package I promise you. It’s just the tires

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
